Let us buy tendies with gold

The more players can buy out the trader’s post, the more items would need to be developed.

I assume anything really worth ‘buying’ with cold hard cash is already in the cash shop, like the pack bear mount for $20. The trading post items seem to offer the same kind of goods each month: a “prestige” flying mount, a less prestigious ground mount. A well-developed armor set that costs way too much tendies (like 700), some weapon mogs of varying quality, a cute backpack here and there–and several terrible sarongs, hoods, half cloaks, and leggings, both with short skirts and long skirts–filler items to make it look like there is a broad 'selection."

Buying out all this crap with real money might seem a good idea in the short term for Blizzard, but the trader’s post exists just to offer carrots to keep playing. Anything truly worthwhile will be in the cash shop, marked way up.

Isn’t really how anything works in life ever… now I think its to late to make a big fuss about the cash shop.

Apathy will always allow problems to get worse over time.

KSM and 3k io in mounts shops ? Mind as well since you can already buy everything with cash

I would love to have a gold option and also a cash shop option. And if neither of those are acceptable, the very least they could do is remove the cap so that we can just keep doing all of the objectives to earn them. But there are certain months I would easily drop $100 for some traders tenders so I could empty out the trading post of all the things I actually wanted and not just the three things I could afford.

oh nonsense.
they put enough up each month…stop being hyperbolic.
People arent asking for more stuff each month…again…theyre asking for more currency.
jesus christ this forum most days…

How is what I said nonsensical? If they run out of supply because the trading post is fully bought out by gold buyers (or tender grinders) every month, they have to put more effort into keeping it stocked. Probably not a cost effective way for Blizzard to spend its time.

They just want players to do enough trader activity to stay engaged in the game while not having to crank out a bunch of new designs every month. So they create artificial scarcity.

If they ever make trader’s tender purchasable with gold tokens, they’ll have decided its worth the effort. I don’t think that it’s a priority for them personally.

I see that the other idea being pushed here is more tenders dropping in game. In which case Blizz will have gained nothing from the exchange but more players buying out the stock.

Everything in the game can be purchased with gold.

Cutting edge, gladiator, everything.

And we can buy gold with money via wow tokens, just put it all in the wow shop.
