Those toys last a couple minutes on a long cooldown.
You must be an interesting person who doesnt want to see people express themselves to be different from you.

Sorry no… I pay way to much money for someone else to be able to control what I look like. Now If you’re willing to pay in gold what everyone around you paid for their transmogs, then maybe.
Naa OP, there are many hunters but this one is mine, and it shall appear the way I want it to appear.
A client side setting wouldnt do that though, you can still use transmog but people who might want to turn it off sometimes it would only appear on there screen
Oh no, not more options! Anything but that please!
na nobody wants clown mode. is my pink hair breaking your immersion?
Xray goggles, lol.
I agree with your point, but the rationale you provided is hilariously asinine. Just because you paid real life cash, who the heck cares?
So… you want to be able to control what other people wear? There are plenty of reasonably critiques you can make of any MMO, but “I don’t have the ability to dictate how other people look” isn’t one of them.
OP, you should prolly edit ur post to mention that you want it CLIENT SIDE ONLY, so that you won’t have to waste any more time arguing with people; about what is actually a completely innocuous change.
In other words, a change that won’t affect their own stuff in any way, shape, or form.
Know wut I’m sayin’? 'Course you do.
And that way- BONUS- if they choose to keep arguing, you know you can ignore 'em completely, cuz they’re dumb. Who wants to pow wow wit people who can’t even read, amirite? 'Course I am🫠
Just a thought. Time is money. Live ur truth and all that.
I just want to be able to set OP’s mog so I can see how ridiculous she would look without it. Just her.
I mean yeah, I figured OP didn’t want to literally reach onto our clients and undo our mogs herself. But even still, physically disabling transmogs on your own client into a generic set based on your level seems like a lot of work, and for a problem that can pretty effectively be ignored.
idk, it wouldn’t be the worse change in the world but I personally find it unnecessary. Maybe I’m wrong.
it really is not needed, what benefit to the game would it add? you can see our clown suits?
i dont even know what my armor looks like as its always mogged
But what is being suggested won’t allow a person to control how you look to yourself or any other people, it only would allow people to control their own personal view. The OP isn’t asking for control over you, point in fact people arguing against this suggestion are asking for control over the OP.
OP kinda left out critical, need to know information regarding this idea, I’m simply pointing that out. Most everyone on here were- kinda sorta understandably- curious as to why their transmogs should be affected to satisfy one player.
Turns out, that ain’t even a legitimate concern! All is well.
The practically of it all is another thing entirely. Development time being used to add this feature is not at all in my ballywick; I got no idea how much work it’d take to implement.
I’d also personally wager: a bit much. But, meh🤷. The less time they waste on the cash shop, the better. Amirite?
Nah, prolly not. But hey, I said wut I said.
… of you, that is giving away player agency. If I wanna wear a dress, I’m wanting people to see me in a dress.
If anything this option would break immersion and RP further
You’d still be wearing it, and everyone choosing to participate in the system would see it. Your agency would be intact.
How? Your experience would not change at all.
They’re asking not to see what I have transmogged… IE to look like the throw up armor we used to have in Vanilla, BC, Wrath etc before Transmog. That can be screen shot, saved, shared on other mediums. Actually yes they are.
Next.
If I’m only wearing it if you choose to see me wearing it then am I wearing it? No, and that is losing player agency, I no longer get to determine the objective, un-relativistic appearance of my character.
I mean plenty of toys allow it right now, and its only on my screen and doesnt effect your gameplay at all
