Lady Alistra also uses the DK voice lines.
DK class trainer in the DK starting zone
Refers to DK powers as “our” powers
Wears plate armor literally the DK starter set
Uses DK voice lines
Who is arguing she isn’ta DK?

So… you’re still not going to cite any official lore source that actually supports your claim?
Fun fact, lots of undead use Death Knight voice lines.
Why would he have to? It’s obvious that it’s just a blood elf death knight. If anything it’s on you to prove that the blood elf that wears plate armor and uses “our” while addressing the player character death knight isn’t actually a death knight.
thats why I don’t play a dk on retail hate that flame junk
Because that’s the premise of their claim. They claim they are a Death Knight, and that they justify the thing they want. The least they can do is prove the baseline of their premise. Yet they keep failing to do so. It’s almost as if there’s a reason for that.
Already did this. Darkfallen, the exact cosmetic of this character, was intentionally excluded from Death Knights, making the two exclusive. She is not a Death Knight, red eyes are not a viable Death Knight cosmetic, and blue eyes are the standard until lore changing events say otherwise.
There are several dk’s npc’s ingame that have different eye colors:
Teron Gorefiend, the first DK:
Lady Alistra:
The four horsemen:
Mograine:
Lady Blaumeux:
Korth’azz:
Zeliek:
Random trolls and dwarfs in Archerus:
And there are many more…
You haven’t either. You cited a class trainer who is a Lich.
That doesn’t prove or suggest she is not a Death Knight.
I say just let them choose any color at this point- even pink.
Let players go crazy.
Do you like Sylvanas by any chance?
only if the demon hunters can leave first.
cause those guys are insane and unstable if left unchecked.
I need red.
I’d be one of the first asking for more eye color options across the board honestly.
Though in some races cases I’d love some explanations. Thalassians for instance have lore for their eye colorations. Night Elves too.
Doesn’t have to be much of course just a little mention.
Death Knights though are ridiculously lacking in their eye colors and its long past time they got their due.
I agree, these eyes look so damn cool!
Here we have a death knight, a fel-orc, and a demon hunter undead!
I’m being facetious here but this is kinda the point ultimately
Expanding on customizations is good but they have to make sense
Why would a death knight have fel-infused colours in their colour scheme? Unholy is green yes, but it isn’t associated directly with Green - pestilence and disease in WoW is green typically, but a lot of Unholy death knights are more prominent shadow users so… shouldn’t their eyes in that case be purple, black, or any other colour like that then?
Red is the outlier here because … blood is only red because blood, not because it has any ties to corpses being animated through blood (an arms warrior would have just as good of a case to have red eyes since their class fantasy is all about creating massive blood-gushing wounds as well); or do we suddenly have anima golem-DKs in the game?
More customizations? Yes please!
But they’ll have to actually make sense as well
DKs have been around for most of the game’s lifespan, so I think it’s pretty arbitrary for anyone to gatekeep them from getting some new eye colors, especially when night elf DKs can still use Night Warrior eyes and mechagnome DKs have cybernetic eye options.
Other than the obvious additions of Blood red and Unholy green, I would also give them Necrolord green, the same as what Draka has, or even just let them have normal eyes now that their formerly unique hair colors have been shared with everyone. Heck, their current eyes aren’t even unique to them anymore considering how many non-DK NPCs have them.
The four horsemen are the most damning there, they are quite literally the elite of the elite death knights.
Feels like asking DKs to not be undead. The blue eyes are key to their fantasy.
Ok.

Well, this really shows how much you know if you’re using Teron as an example for Gen III Death Knights. Please look into his history to understand why he has near nothing to do with us, and why he justifies nothing.
The prime example that’s already been debunked in this thread.
Not Gen III Death Knights, they predate our class concept. If we want to use old Naxx examples, we should also be using sword and board. The new horseman adhere to the current rules.
Face tattoos have a limitation that prevents eye glows from being used with them. We see the same with notable characters like Thassarian, and Whitemane, yet their feature in books, official art work, and cinematic appearances have the standard blue eyes.
All of the Death Knight Initiates in Acherus retain their racial eye glows, or lack thereof. The Trolls being the only exception because they used a preexisting undead Sand Troll model.
Welcome to this topic, I see you’re new.
I have, actually. She has an appearance that was specifically barred from Death Knights, definitively setting her apart from us.
I only like playing her in HotS. In WoW she can stay in the Maw forever.
A few more options would be great, and we have seen them on the NPCs.
I’m a big fan of making the dark ranger skin available to death knights (they have the night warrior eyes, for heaven’s sake). And yeah, they should also be able to use the Cult of the Damned face tattoos.
I’d also like to see the Dark Ranger skin available for Nightborne, but that’s another topic.
Definitely not a DK.
