I first read the title as “legal” advice so that’s what I’m going with because it’s more fun:
Demon Hunter PvP Legal Advice — “Know Your Rights to Chaos”
1. Right to Pursuit (aka Fel Restraining Orders Don’t Exist)
You have the legal right to chase down any fleeing target using Fel Rush, Vengeful Retreat, or The Hunt. If they run, that’s consent to be legally annihilated.
Precedent: “You ran, now you die v. Rogue (2023)”
2. Informed Consent is Optional for Eye Beam
Your Eye Beam is an Area of Legal Obliteration. You are not required to issue any warning before beaming someone’s soul into the void. Even if they’re stunned. Or disarmed. Or crying.
Eye contact = implied consent.
3. Double Jump & Glide Clause
Under PvP Rule 7-F (“Demonic Mobility Act”), Demon Hunters are allowed to double jump and glide over enemy CC, traps, and terrain. If you fell into a trap, that’s a you problem. The law is clear: float over it like the menace you are.
4. Self-Defense Through Chaos Nova
You may invoke the “Chaos Nova Defense” whenever surrounded. Stunning multiple enemies is not excessive force—it’s standard practice. Especially on cooldown.
5. Fel Evasion Doctrine
If accused of being hard to hit, refer to the “Fel Evasion Doctrine,” which states:
“Any and all attempts to damage the DH while Evasion, Blur, or Netherwalk are active shall be considered void, null, and laughable.”
6. You Are Not Responsible for Your Actions During Meta
Once Metamorphosis is activated, all legal responsibility for your damage output is transferred to Blizzard Entertainment. You were merely the vessel. Any complaints must be directed to your developer.
7. No Jury Will Convict You
If you Eye Beam > Fel Rush > The Hunt > Blade Dance someone into a loading screen in under 3 seconds, that’s called a felony, but only to them. For you, it’s Tuesday.
Bonus Clause: “Rogues Signed a Waiver”
All Rogues entering PvP arenas or battlegrounds have implicitly waived their right to fair treatment when facing a Demon Hunter. They know what they signed up for. Cloak of Shadows doesn’t work on regret.
