This was the easiest thing to not screw up, my goodness.
I’ll probably dive in a week or two later, after Blizzard’s done their usual “we are Listening and Learning” song and dance and actually tweaks stuff people have been complaining about on the PTR.
What are the complaints? The only thing I am aware of are the artifact skins from the mage tower not being available.
I’ll probably check it out, but like Kazimir I think I’ll wait a bit. I’ve done most of the TWW stuff I wanted to do so I’m just gonna pause my sub for a bit and check out Legion once it is all ungated and stuff.
When Legion was current I did the Warrior, Monk, DH, and DK class halls all the way through… what do you guys recommend I check out first from the ones I never finished?
I’m going to be playing a Demon Hunter as my main and making a monk version of my hunter.
I hope to get to focus more on remix than I got to on Mists remix.
They’ve made multiple changes to increase Bronze acquisition and player power since that Reddit thread was posted, so hopefully the journey to becoming super OP won’t be too arduous. I’m not a fan of them timegating the content, especially since this is already a time-limited event. RIP folks who were hoping to start farming Antorus for Taeshalach and the Argus scythes right away.
I’m also miffed that they won’t even throw us a bone with mage tower appearances. Just one or two recolors, man! I’d love a black and red, Emerald Nightmare-themed werebear skin.
Having said that, I’m going to make an Earthen character first, so that I can get that heritage set knocked out. I’ll almost certainly play it a lot more as we get further into the season. I do appreciate that they’re letting S3 of TWW breathe before Lemix launches. I remember feeling rushed by MoP Remix release.
Seriously. I have been looking forward to another Remix, since the last Remix. I haven’t had that much fun in this game in a long time.
The more I hear about the play style, the more cautious I get. I STFG if they screw this up and don’t make it nearly as accessible and stupidly easy/overpowered as MoP Remix, I am going to actually genuinely be angry.
We all know I won’t quit playing but ffs, why did they have to change it up? People liked how MoP remix was.
I’m looking forward to Remix, I know there was some negativity floating around about the last one when it started but it proved to be really fun. Hoping the same thing with this one. Honestly, half the reason I decided to dive into FFXIV is because I’m just waiting for remix.
I’m trying to decide if I play another monk because I just want to be a over powered god like Brewmaster or Death Knight because I want to play threw the class hall since it’s supposed to be one of the cooler ones.
I’m not super worried about time gated content, I get the disappointment but I’m a slowpoke so it probably won’t affect me as much because I can really only play a few hours on the weekend anyway.
Last remix, I made Coalgar, learned how to heal badly, and then spent all of TWW learning what I was doing wrong.
This remix, do I tank badly and the spend all of midnight correcting my errors? Seems like a prime opportunity to me!
I’ll definitely be checking it out, but after Pandaria Remix… I feel like I’m genuinely running out of class/race pairings which hold any appeal for me. I already have so many characters that I could never hope to roleplay with even half of them. So I think that I’ll mainly just be in it for collecting any transmog sets that catch my eye.
I really hope that we get some more Lightforged weapons and armor with the Argus phase.
I’ll be making a human paladin since that’s a class hall I never got to experience. I’m keeping an open mind and seeing what the remix has to offer, since I’ve sort of reached what TWW season 3 gameplay loop is for me now since I’m not a raider.
Honestly though, looking forward to it. I need to farm more plate armor for transmog for the future so better now than never.
If and when we get Paladins for all, I am fully expecting you to make a Blaidd character.

If remix leveling is as fast as I hear it is, maybe I’ll make a new wuggo on WrA, finally see what alliance is like on this server.
That was arguably what made my Ranni Run so gorram hard to do, because of the curse on Blaidd and how saving Ranni and the realm for the curse of the Fingers damned one of the few noble and virtuous souls in the game.
Pour one out for the Good Boy, he did not deserve to be Lassie’d.
I thought the Warlock storyline was interesting. And I feel like the Rogue stuff got tainted by a lot of people’s disappointment over the location of the class hall, but the actual story/questing was fun.
I should probably go delete a bunch of the MoP remix characters I’ve never played since. I’ll probably start with a mage since that’s the one class I never did in original Legion, after that, it will be filling in the gaps. I foresee spending lots of bronze for ensembles where I’m missing one or two pieces from the set.
I had a total blast during MoP Remix. Rolled a monk, pally, and druid. I’m thinking one each LFD Death Knight and Pally for Legion Remix. I hope that it’s as much fun as the last remix.
I cleared out a bunch of lowbie characters over the weekend so I’ll have room for whatever I level. I’d like to keep it to 1-2. My guild wants to do an all pally run. I want to see the DK storyline.
I need to do this.
