I very pointedly do not seek him out at the end of the questline. That way I can pretend he gets to move on.
I guess I really am in a bad place, with what I want in this game.
Legion Remix Rewards:
There is so little I actually want from this remix. yikes.
I’m going to try and organize some fun if I can. Doing specific content with people for fun memes and laughs.
For example. A massive Death Knight Army all using that new Riders of the Apocalypse Hero talent in Legion with the DK Order Hall and the Four Horseman, and those world PvP World Quests with mounted combat, but the ones where you aren’t…the DKs all still are.
Sounds so fun. Doing that on Heroic World Tier sounds fun as well.
Just one of many ideas of fun ways to group up with people.
So, looking at the requirements for get some of the stuff… I’m never too happy when I see completing a raid. I don’t know if there’s anything I like enough to deal with that.
I wasn’t around for MOP Remix, so I don’t know how all that went. I’m interested in Legion, so I’ll at least give it try. There are some things I want. but the question is do I want them bad enough.
If it is anything like Pandaria Re:Mix, the final few months you’ll have have people who have more hit-points than God and enough raw firepower to beat the Devil to death with his own limbs, and Mythic Groups are generally a matter of you stacking enough Speed to keep up with these murderous bey-blades as they spin to win through the Raids.
Now, with Legion, apparently Blizzard decided to nerf the Isekai Power Scaling a bit (BOO!), I’d imagine folks are going to have to put a bit of elbow grease in, but at the same point, we’re also likely to be wildly more powerful than we would have been in Normal Legion.
That said, I am looking at these Keystone achievements and just going
, but that is because of tendon damage and an ancient tower that’s barely holding together than any other reason.
By the middle of MOP Remix, I was soloing every dungeon and every raid. Late middle of remix, I was soloing them on the highest tier and running people through for free.
Although there’s not seemingly a ton of things I want from Remix, I enjoyed the hell out of being able to help people. My goal for Legion is the same - god tier smash mode, so everyone else can get the things they want.
Hoping Legion remix is the same, in which case I’ll be posting on here and am happy to run anyone through anything.
Well, I hope I do get run around like a demi-god. Sometimes it’s just fun to be able to run through stuff as an all powerful god being for a while. So I hope that’s still a thing.
I’ll keep an open mind and take a stab at it. Anyway that Sargerei Comander’s Felscorn Regalia… You are just some gold beads away from a helluva Mardi Gras outfit!
I’ve more or less withheld judgment about remix. I see a lot of complaints about original mage tower appearances not being brought back. I have to agree with the decision: you can’t advertise something as a limited time feature then bring it back. I hold the same stance when it comes to gladiator mounts, elite sets, AOTC titles, etc. As far as the overall, I think it’s a massive upgrade from MOP remix, at least at face value. I’m looking forward to collecting mounts and having fun with my friends. ![]()
I agree tbh and I say this as a loser scrub bad player because I didn’t do the mage tower and don’t have any of the appearances ![]()
Anyway there’s a handful of things I want from Legion Remix. I actually don’t care that much about artifact appearances but Argus Scythe and the gross Urzul mount letsssss go!!
I don’t see any harm in bringing back something that’s been gone since what, 2018? 7 years is long enough for anything’s exclusivity to no longer be a selling point.
Meanwhile, the mage tower appearances would be a major selling point right now for people who weren’t around during Legion or who weren’t ready or able to get them at the time.
Not bringing them back is a major marketing fail. But my guess is that Blizz devs must not be able to do the mage tower in Remix because why else would they decide not to release a popular feature?

I could literally care less if someone else got the challenge mode gold armor for rogues because its ugly as sin from MoP (I never wear it), and I don’t care if more people got the cool outlaw and assassination weapons from Mage Tower like I did because they’re so cool (sorry sub your icicle daggers are boring).
It was cool to feel exclusive at the time, but now I’m old and I don’t care if more people want to have nice things. Just let it be released who even cares.
Oh no.
I realize gaming is not what it used to be. It’s a whole universe of people who make a living off gaming. People care about what they earn, etc etc.
I’ve just never felt that when I’m gaming. I’ve got a number of exclusive things and frankly, it would not bother me one bit if everyone else had them also. The Rooster mount for one. I’ve had it for years. I would love to see a whole Army of Magic Rooster soldiers in Azeroth. It would not lessen my having it.
Day 1 of Remix incoming and I am hoping to have the same amazing experience I did last time. If Blizz managed to overcomplicate and ruin this, I will be irritated.
I don’t care how much blood, sweat and tears I need to shed.
I’M GETTING THAT FIRE CAPE.
At this point it just feels like a shame to keep these cool items forever locked away in some prideful vault.
Did it make me think I was cool to get stuff done and have a unique reward at the time it was current? Sure, but after almost a decade the novelty wears off and I think its sader to just make them permenantly unattainable.
If theres one thing 14 does right, its that there are very few items in it that are permanently gone forever. Most are obtainable always the moment its released.
I can understand exclusivity within a current expansion. AFter that expansion, or season, is over I really don’t care anymore. Just let people have it. It’s just pixels.
Having left the game in Wrath and come back at DF announce, I really think Remixes are great for me. I have done some of the order halls, but as legacy content that you can just smash through. So I have a plethora of things to get.
My plan is to make a troll hunter, and play as far into the hard content that I don’t normally access as I’m able. My main focus now is reputations, professions, and housing decor.
Well!
I was going to hold off, but my appendix had other ideas and now I have an abundance of “sitting in front of the computer and not moving too much” time. So I guess I’ll be deep diving into remix the second the servers are up.
What I’m reading about remix this time around all sounds good. No more gems, and you can bank six days worth of daily quests. The timegating isn’t really bad either. new stuff pretty much every week.
