Legion Order Hall Recruits Not Contributing

Following the latest content update, the Legion order hall recruits can be recruited, but when added to the mission team do not increase mission success. I have tried all different types of missions and both types of recruits. I am experiencing this as a Demon Hunter that is Level 38 on the Blood Furnace Server. Character name is Kjerigyn.

Thanks for the heads-up. For what it is worth, the WoD mission table still seems to be working properly, but I haven’t tried Legion missions since the patch.

Just chiming in to say its not just you. I’m playing as Lvl 35 Warlock on Lightbringer, name is Veia, both Packs of Imps and Black Harvest Acolytes (recruited after update) are not displaying whatever they are suppose to counter in the GUI (as well as not contributing to mission success). Odd thing is that I had a single group of Pack of Imps that were trained before the latest content update and they did display what they countered as well as actually contribute mission success chance after the update, unlike the new recruits.

Add in three more confirmations- not working for me or the two people I regularly play with. Adding on to the weird GUI aspect Aye mentioned, the stats they display on the detailed tab are identical to which Champion I’ve last examined.

It’s affecting the BfA troops too. The problem is recruited Legion and BfA troops have no abilities, and hence do not contribute to missions. Troops recruited prior to the patch still retain their proper abilities and work until their stamina runs out, but any recruited troops post patch are useless.

I’m noticing this issue, as well.

Same here. I’ve noticed that they show up as grey quality in the chat window when recruited a well.

I’m experiencing the same issue after 9.1.

Class: Demon Hunter
Realm: Zul’jin
Level: 18

Additionally, this same issue is occurring on my Paladin.

Oddly, the troops for my Warlock have no abilities (though they still contribute when used with Champions who’s abilities rely on minions) but my Priest’s minions still have THEIR abilities

I recently started playing again specifically to continue this questline, so it’s kinda funny it chose now of all times to fall apart on me

Its also happening with me on my mage

every hotfix I’m hoping to see this on the list of fixed issues

and every hotfix i am disappointed.

Same problem. I noticed it slowly affected all of my troops as I used them. Replacement recruits would recruit as gray and all with the same abilities.

This bug effectively breaks the dailies in the order hall.

This is also happening to me as I level this alt through Legion.

Thankfully, I don’t use the recruits much and the champions are usually sufficient to get the quest missions done.

Same, especially when the champs are fully leveled up- but early on, when you’ve only got 2 or 3, it’s really stressful to be doing missions as “high success chance” when they were originally designed to be 100%. Tutorial mission being 85%? Yikes.

Can confirm that this issue also happens in the Paladin Order Hall…really annoying.

i too am having the same problem; WoD mission table has no recruits, so is not affected, but my BfA table is affected as well.

What i have noticed is that not only do they not have abilities listed that contribute to the mission, they’re all showing in the right-hand “details” panel as having the abilities of the first Follower in your list (so, for me - for Legion it’s Dvalen Ironrune, & for BfA it’s Arcanist Valtois).

This grey status & lack of inherent abilities also affects whoever is “summoned” with Moroes’ “Dinner Invitation.”

That previous post was accidentally under one of my alts - of course a DK does not have Dvalen ironrune as a follower - my main is a warrior, Mausoleah, Horde-Proundmoore.

I’m having the same problem on my demon hunter on Blood furnace also. I’ve tried it with different missions, different followers, tried reloading the UI. has been doing it for over a week now.

As of 7/12/21 still broken and it’s slowing me down in terms of how many teams I can field but progression with the Broken Isles storyline since I have to complete a Legionfall mission.

Have gone through Legion on two characters recently, a mage and a demon hunter, and they are broken on both of them. Makes progress somewhat difficult.
