This article not only makes perfect sense but also further CONFIRMS that we are still playing Legion and beta testing next expansion.

YES lets all go play legion ! as we are still beta testing BFA!.. LOL BTW how much rep do I need to get to get flying on legion ? path finder 1 , 2 , 3 and exalted with rep for Shadowlands right ?

wait till SL hits people soon will be say OH WAHT A CRAP EXPAT ! lol

Personally Iā€™d rather be playing WoD than BfA right now. I liked WoD raids/dungeons, and I never really cared about whether or not I needed to do ā€œworld contentā€.

Then again I also loved Vashā€™jir (underwater cataclysm zone) and continue to play it on almost every character I have when leveling through that range. My tastes may be skewed away from statistical averages on some things.

Iā€™d still love to see Blizzard change their mind about the rep buff.

No thanksā€¦ Your drop rates are to low.

Yeah, this is my main issue with Legion mounts and stuff. The rep mounts should have been available on the vendors themselves. Or at the very least we should be able to buy them with curious coins or something.

Itā€™s great that they wanted to let people know that these things exist, but for a lot of people it doesnā€™t matter, because the drop rates are abysmal. Class mounts were a different story, obviously, and they were well worth the grind.

class hall mounts can only be ridden by THAT specific class, iirc

Reporting in, youā€™re wrong and BFA is worse.

WoD at least entertained me with PVP and some scraps of good class design from MoP.

Iā€™m not asking for a gimmie or anythingā€¦ but when I look at low drop rates I just go nopes.

I agree with the class mountsā€¦ That wasnā€™t difficult at all, and was interesting for the ones I collected.

I donā€™t even chase tmog sets anymore because theyā€™ve done carrot on a stick with all that crap. Iā€™m not here to run things until my eyes bleed. Iā€™m here to have funā€¦ and I donā€™t consider that fun. Running stuff with my guild is fun, if I collect stuff on the sideā€¦ Okā€¦

Blizzard posts info so people donā€™t have to go to wowheadā€¦ and people crap all over themā€¦ wow. ā€¦ just wow.

Iā€™m not crapping on them, personally. Like I said in my post, I think it is good of them to bring this to peoplesā€™ attention. I do understand where some people are coming from though because I feel the same about certain things.

I know itā€™s a point of faith for you that nobody has ever stopped playing the game. Well, you know it is utterly false, but you need to at least try to convince those of us who know there are 100 million accounts gone dormant since wow began. Where did all those people go if no one has ever gone away permanently?

Hey, if you donā€™t want to play the game because the forums are your end game, or you think the majority of players are playing the game wrong because they play for fun instead of proving their moral superiority over people who actually play more than they do, well hey. Enjoy!

convince you of what?
people (shock horror) stop playing for various reasons.
from account bans, to deathā€¦,. or simply outgrowing the game.
there are many reasons why people stop playing.

nobody needs to justify it to you, or anyone else if they want to stop playing.

It seems like youā€™re the one coming from a place of moral superiority here, by making all sorts of outrageous claims about me.

itā€™s fairly obvious i play the game.

i donā€™t care how people choose to spend their time.

i donā€™t pay for their accounts itā€™s none of my business what they do.

Sure. Nobody ever stopped playing because they didnā€™t like something about the game. It was always a PEOPLE issue. It was their problem and not blizzardā€™s problem. And they all came back, every one of them. And of course, the responsible thing for a company to do is to completely ignore people leaving, in fact encouraging people to leave the game, as you do so often. Because apparently you think youā€™re doing Blizzard a favor by coming out against promotions that are intended to keep customers.

But hey, youā€™re in good company, right? All the other drones who come to the forums to try to convince people to leave the game would agree with you that the game is better off without actual subscribers.

Itā€™s not at all obvious that you play the game if you want it to shrink and lose its customer base.

You do indeed care about how people spend their time. If not you wouldnā€™t be trying to convince us that itā€™s a great thing for people to take an extended break and never come back.

iā€™ve never done anything like that.

ever.

i think youā€™ve confused me with someone else.

ā€¦probably explains why you jumped straight to attacking me.

Sure you havenā€™t. Right. Except all the time. Deflect, deflect, deflect.

thereā€™s no need to deflect.

ā€¦just like thereā€™s no reason for you to accuse people of doing something they didnā€™t do.
