To preface this: I’ve done the Legion Artifacts quests on another character and have had zero issues with it thus far.
I started playing again after a long time away (14 years). I purchased the version that gives a Level 70 Boost token. I used this on my Paladin (Dawnbreaker > Illidan > Horde).
I have completed the Legion introductory quest chain. I made it to Legion Dalaran, but the NPC that’s suppose to appear to give you the starting quest for class artifact and class hall never appears. I’ve turned on the filter for low level quests. You can see the legendary icon for it, but there is no NPC in the area the map shows.
I’ve read through various forum posts, reddit, etc. and have tried various different workarounds that others have tried to no avail. I had tried submitting support tickets, but all that got me were the same canned “Use WowHead” responses. Through my research i came across a forum topic where someone claimed a GM said the following (Different way to get to class Order Hall - #4 by Dunstir-eitrigg)
" I apologize for any confusion and frustrations this may have caused. With using the boost and what is flagged on boosted character and what your character has done here, it appears it has caused some quest flagging to prevent you from being able to progress forward.
I was able to set things right with the character so you should be able to go directly to Dalaran and then see a wind elemental walk up to you and start asking you to follow them which leads you to getting your first Artifact that is provided to characters in the Legion expansion and then get to your Class Hall."
From what I can gather, it seems Boosted Characters are bugged when it comes to certain quests (Legion Artifact Quests in particular). This doesn’t appear to be a new issue either as the example above is from 2020.
A little help in figuring out why I can’t get this quest would be appreciated.
