I was thinking about this overnight. I definitely agree there needs to be a mount reward. I think they should give one out to anyone that obtained Legend this season at least once.
They should award a “Legend’s Emerald Drake” or “Legend’s Obsidian Drake” similar to s1 or s4 upcoming glad mount that looks exactly identical except one is green and the other is black.
Idk, just an opinion, I think it would incentivize more people to que.

For me personally bgb is the go to. I’m not sure the mmr is accurate or stable shall I say, but it seems to be the funnest of the solos.

What is it with you and the word popular exactly. Are you some kind of philosopher. I’m only referring to the activity tied to shuffle. Not some kind of obscure belief that the mode is good or bad.
Personally, I’m posting here because I’d like to see healthier shuffle Q’s and I think the mount would help. On the other hand, I’m still not sure what’s the point you’re trying to make. The only feeling I’m getting is that you’d like to see the mode fail in the end.
You sure lack the appropriate humility to get help figuring that out, considering whose fault it is

You’ve done nothing but imply that the mode being popular is because the mode is good likely due to your own feelings on the mode. You can like the mode, but it’s trash. It’s only popular because it’s the only mode like it in the game. Idk how much simpler I can make it.
I think SS was Blizzard kinda giving us what we asked for, and it has failed in my estimation. Regardless of whether you see it that way, I would bet any amount of money that BGB decimates the SS ladder come TWW. BGs are just more popular than Arena, even if you don’t think they are good.

Resurrecting a dead thread because it’s still relevant. I’m currently at 1 hour in queue. 100 wins is a full time job.
Edit: Queue popped… all you gotta do is complain boys.

Me wanting the GM set for my hunter for last 4 expacs finally solo queue option. Only 1550 after whole season because cant be bothered waiting 40 minutes per queue getting 21 points a match 900 mmr higher then the rating i want.
Stupid game.
Legend should be 50 wins while being in the top 50 (different number works too) of your spec and should give a mount. 2400 is rank 270 as BM and rank 30 as MM.

It should just stop being a blanket number. That’s the problem with all rewards except rank 1. Depending on inflation/participation it can be way too easy or way too hard. Everything should be percentage based!

While I don’t always agree with this, it would definitely lead to more class diversity in shuffle as people play weaker classes for lower rating requirements to get rewards. Just like a certain fuzzy buddy abusing tank queue rating being lower for R1, but on larger scale!
Just curious, what are your reasons for not wanting things to be percentage based?
