Quick answer, yes.

This happened going from BFA → SL due to level / ilvl squish. Many player accounts of this:

So I went back to BFA the other day thinking I would solo a dungeon for an achievement I needed.

Turns out I couldn’t. I was doing the same level of damage I was in BFA at level 120 (now 50) before the pre patch.

Thinking it is just a dungeon issue with the squish, I went and attacked uldum nzoth forces to test… and found some trash pleb npc… who yup you guessed it… took JUST AS LONG to kill now at 60 than it did at 120 (50).

I actually have gained 10 levels with 0 reward or progression. That is quite literally the anti-MMO. What the actual hell blizz?! 10 levels above I should have decimated that NPC.

Can blizz please address this, this is NOT right and it does not feel rewarding.

Boss was Goroth in ToS Mythic

Beta: Current standard gear and loadout with no modifications
LVL 70 and ilvl 340 with a 40s ttk

Live 9.3: LVL 60 ilvl 272 with a 23s ttk
10.0 Live: LVL 60 ilvl 272 with a 44s ttk Boss was Goroth in ToS Mythic

Update: LVL 70 Full tier 5/5 ilvl 375 with a 28s ttk.

even now on beta at level 80 in max 629 gear doing nylotha, some attacks miss or get parried. this is unreal.

I won’t forget about it because the HP buff negates any increase in levels and gear after 70. If they kept the HP the same it would be way quicker but nah. At 80 in max gear I do less damage to nylotha than I did before prepatch
