Missed out dude, i would love to have ineffable truth back, or a high haste+TD set. Was so much fun pumping out TDs during crusade before the vendor.
Sadly ret only played well with mastery amps. So boring.

This is the best summary I have seen! Thank you!
I really do like this expansion…though I admit without Revendreth and Venthyr Im positive Id be less impressed…but its definitely a lot different than they claimed it was going to be.
I mean, Im sure I let my mind run rampant with fantasies of what it was going to be like before it was released…but some of this stuff might actually be WORSE than BFA…and I HATED that expansion, lol
Umm no…I don’t want to rerun WoD because it has a BIS. been there, done that. I have no interest in old raids we did for 1 patch long ages ago.
I was against the squish from the start because I knew stuff like this would happen. Legion raid content not being soloable is ridiculous.
All Blizz has to do is exactly this, bring the legacy buff back like it was after all the other squishes, where it multiplies your damage by X, and be done with it, relatively straightforward fix but yet Ion and Co refuse to even listen to the feedback.
I appreciate the information, just came back to the game and couldn’t remember how the legacy buff worked (or doesn’t work). Hopefully they come back well rested and can buckle down and get some bugs fixed!
what’s more is that a couple bosses in legion would still be straight up impossible to solo. eonar and coven of shivarra. the only other boss with a split-the-bosses-or-they-take-nearly-no-damage mechanic i can think of in legion is the first phase of odyn, but you can still solo them mythic when one stops to cast. it’s just annoying, is all.
so, expect legion to be soloable in 490 years.
Dont worry, it will show up in a patch as a feature so we can be grateful for the content
Not exactly. the +11 is kind of true. But this happened from being 2 expacs back.
Also…
All content that was legit +11 in the old system is working fine from the old setup. Except legion.
For most expacs they have found a way to respect the prior +11 of the old 120 levels system even though all prior expacs are technically not +11 anymore.
Even TBC at this point is not +11 to SL. Its +10.
level to 50 in TBC, go to the shadowlands. But its still go hit Gruul’s raid and shoot it up quick and easy. Kharazhan is still run and gun till the chess match. Even youtube has not helped me win chess, I suck…I know.
WoD as well…is not +11 to SL. Its +10. 50 in wod…to the shadowlands you go. And it works like it used to before squish.
Legion…however this was not respected nor implemented.
What’s sad is that we are literally 15 levels above Legion content now, and irrespective of the squish, it’s still not right.
When comparing boss health to player health: M Legion boss health, at least in Goroth’s case, is roughly 4x higher compared to a geared level 60, than it was with a geared 120 (now 50) in 8.2.5 (that was prior to corruption, etc.). Player power went absurdly backwards and they screwed this up immensely.
As a warrior it is impossible I feel to finish antorus. That final w/e its called kills me before I can run to each stupid orb.
Im all for it. Love the concept…but the execution was worse than Id have expected walmart workers to carry out.
Holiday is not an excuse. They nerfed timewalking loot, and one of the overarching complaints of the expansion is how little loot you get for your efforts (secondarily is how PvP is the biggest reward).
I disagree. Walmart isn’t in the dictionary
Oh, I absolutely agree. They shouldn’t have released the game in the state that it’s in now as it is, lol.
I’m simply denoting what the likely reality of the situation is; they kept a handful of folks present to ensure certain high-level needs were being addressed, which based on their seeming priorities includes catastrophic failures and any advantages to the player base.
Because by golly, gotta make sure no players can get ahead in this crazy world of theirs, bwa hahahahaha
Edit: Typos
They realize the raiding transmogs are miles better than anything they’ve release in a long time and don’t want people playing legion instead of SL. its really that simple. I mean I spend a bunch of time there anyways getting artifact weapon skins instead of SL farming anima.
But an example of broken Legion raiding…2 60’s couldn’t kill Maiden of Vigilance in Mythic ToS. How is that not an issue? We had around 170ish iLVL at the time.

This is the only thing I can personally think of. It sounds very vain and petty, but it’s the only conclusion I can come to as to why they won’t enable Legion Legacy Damage for the Raids.
Unless they truly screwed up scaling, don’t want to admit it, so are just telling us it’s working as intended until they actually figure out what they screwed up. Though that might be just wishful thinking that they are just covering their ***es until they fix it, more inclined to believe they just flat out lied about the squish not affecting our ability to solo stuff.
Dude ,you can die in Cata raids, CATA WAS HOW LONG AGO AND I HAVE BEEN 1 SHOTTING IT FOR YEARS BUT NOW * YEARS LATER IT IS KILLING ME.
The sad part that never gets talked about is how it never recovered from the very first squish,so the 2 after just compounded.
