You do realize it’s a horrible feature, and it has no place in classic. And is game breaking for the many of the already small classic player base…

It’s minor, it’s definitely a minor issue if you can even call it an issue. I’ve linked plenty of 2006 PvP videos showing just how large the leeway range was.

why are you linking videos from 2006 where the lag and the mechanic were in sync? CURRENTLY there is an issue because internet speeds are different…hardware is different. hellooooooo…look at current videos please. tell me that is “quality”. its garbage. sorry to be so blunt, i love this game, but it looks and plays horrible.

You’re not getting any changes to leeway or spell batching for that matter. Blizzard has said they’re not in the business of recreating the feeling but rather the numbers that make up specific mechanics. Good luck with your futile crusade though.
I can guarantee you most of the people playing Classic are not going to care about leeway.
How many melee won those dueling tournaments? Also, if you want a “balanced and fair” game, then Classic is not for you.

No, you’re exaggerating and fear-mongering. There will be no drop in PvP because melee sometimes hit you from 1 yard further than you feel like they should.

Galdor put up what looks to me unlaggy game play of players both benefiting from leeway so I’d like to see the video you are talking about to counteract his argument.
The leeway range is 2.66 yards. The argument is not that leeway is not authentic but that it feels different than it did in 2006.
The current estimates I’ve seen put it at about 1 yard difference between how it feels. Maybe you should give us something other than your feelings and tell us how much you feel it should be adjusted from 2.66 yards.

there were two videos ive seen posted right in the leeway threads im following that show the person a lot more than 1 yard away. about a third of the screen. they are testing distance and going further and further. at the end it very well could be more than a third of the screen and still getting hits. melee benefits more obviously.
again, you can say fake news and whatever else to attempt to discredit the fact that it IS mistuned, but streamers, players, are all posting and discussing this because it is off. you can rattle off whatever numbers you want in attempts to provide damage control for blizz, but it def reeks of poor implementation. dont be snowballed by the shills…watch the vids and decide for yourself if it provides “fair gameplay”.
