Leaving a mythic pug raid-punishable?

We all know that you need 20 for mythic raid and if you’re in a pug, you have to hope those in the group will stay for the full run (first 4 bosses, for example). If you wipe a few times on the fourth boss and then someone leaves without saying anything, can you report them? It’s not really any different from people who leave keys. In a raid, if one leaves and you can’t replace them, then the other 19 are out loot/vault slot.

Not realy anyone can leave a raid for whatever reason its not against the rules thats the unfortunate side of running with pugs.

The policy was only made for Mythic keystone dungeons. Mythic raids are unaffected.

EDIT:

Sorry, my bad on that. I’ve fixed it, like 12 hours after liking the post.

Even then, there wasn’t an official policy made for mythic+ dungeons. They just actioned people who left a LOT of dungeons, where there was a clear pattern of them bricking keys.

Because you can replace raiders, I don’t see this becoming a thing.

Mythic raids aren’t the same as mythic keys.

Perfectly fine to leave a raid for any or no reason. Even keystones they only went after those who made a bad habbit of joining keys and dropped out after they started forcing the group to fail.

The fact that mythic raid carries a lockout, so it’s not easy grabbing another player for just one boss. Also, one boss doesn’t give the player a vault slot.

I guess raid lockout is a whole other topic.

Anything you say after this doesn’t matter. People are allowed to leave a dungeon/raid/BG/etc anytime they wish. They are not going to be actioned for doing so, beyond a deserter debuff.

No, but part of it is that Mythic Raid is explicitly not designed to be puggable.

Wanting to punish someone for leaving a raid is absolutely insane behavior.

I think I left M+ groups about three times in the last few weeks. At the start of the season, I probably left more than 10 times, and I was never suspended or received any kind of warning. So, if I were you, I wouldn’t worry about it. From what I understand, the issue arises if you join a group with the intent of disrupting the experience for other players. For example, leaving right after the timer starts, pulling a bunch of mobs and then leaving, things like that.

The actions against M+ were against those being extreme. Making it clear they were leaving to cause grief or some such (amazing how many people will brag on their way out of the dungeon) and excessive leavers. Leaving quietly in a non-excessive manner will not incur a penalty. If something like this ever applied to raids, I would assume the same guidelines.

Regardless, they don’t take suggestions from this forum. If you want to share this, you’d want to use the in-game suggestion option, or hop on over to the dungeons & raids forum to share your idea.

And you wont get sanctioned for leaving keys.

If you make a habbit of leaving keys on a regular basis. When they can tell that it is being done to grief groups. Ie Leaving after the key was acivated, Not just a few times but where they can see a pattern.
