If someone bails halfway through a m+ for no reason and the run was going smoothly…allow the remaining players to vote a leaver status on that person so he’d be locked out for an hour. Simple fix.
What if the person that left had gone to save their cat who put themselves in their oven?
Get a new cat. Eat the old one.
How do you know it is “no reason”?
Define no reason, and explain how the game tells the difference.
Honestly, running m+ with half the tanks that have been queueing up and no, I’m not running my head into a brick wall. If a tank cant handle kiting or doing tank mechanics after being told over and over I am just gonna end up leaving.
Y’all mythic+ dungeon runners are a dramatic bunch fr. Always fighting with eachother. Gets old.
No message. Nothing.
so if they typed “sorry g2g my grandma fell down the stairs” that would be enough reason to avoid leaver status?
I can’t see this being implemented in a way that would be fair. I was in a 5 last night and one of the dps kept going offline. Felt bad for the person, I wouldn’t want leave status applied because of something not their fault.
And my other concern would be if someone was removed by the lead, could that leaver status still apply?
Then he’ll have a bigger issue and he’ll be OK to be locked for an hour
People don’t leave good groups
No one has ever left a key for no reason. He probably left because he observed something that would cause the key not to be timed, or to be a mess. Just because you weren’t aware there was an issue doesn’t mean there wasn’t one
No one ever? Really?
Run with a premade OP. Post in Trade your M+ times you can run every week and get a bunch of like minded/timed people to run them with you.
it happens, I’m sure, but it’s rare.
there’s a lot of perspective in there too. I’ve done runs that to me were complete and total crapshows. no one other than me interruting, people walking into random groups, garbage tier-dps, etc… and at the end someone goes “thanks for the great run that went so well” and I don’t think they were joking.
point is, what one person thinks is an awful group, another person thinks it’s going really well.
but yea. people generally don’t leave good groups.
For those saying “it might have been a good reason”. That player should probably be tending to that “really good” reason for at least an hour, so it shouldn’t be a big deal to that player if they did leave for a reason
Well if they throw a cussing tantrum its usually and quit that’s a good sign they deserve the lockout. If they politely say they have to leave because of an emergency they have a reason. If they randomly DC and don’t come back its up in the air I suppose.
so if the group is bad, and I want to leave, all I have to do to avoid your leaver status is say “peace out guys, I have to go wash my hair, have a great day!”
you didn’t really think this through did you lol
Don’t worry people will stop doing Mythic+ when they keep getting no loot… Call it the scorched earth fix… Thank Blizzard.
