I actually just queue as tank or healer. Its just that all that time adds up especially when you get nothing out of it 
I’m just thinking, to help the dps who don’t have tank/heal toons/specs. I figure having a real tank in prot spec may help out those who are new, or struggling with queue times or whatever.
It’s a nice gesture but you should do it after your first attempt, otherwise it could happened like the time, i help a friend during hallow’s end and now i got another mount in my bags that i couldn’t pass to him. really sad

Leave it alone, make quality of life changes, but DONT make the % higher. A lot of ppl that lvled a buch of alts just to get a better chance to drop and got it in the past years like me will get very angry. Its not fair to those ppl who dedicated a lot of time to get it.
There’s a lot of players that dedicated that time providing support to this news, i’ll do the same if i got it, doing right now with 50 characters.
Also, you shouldn’t be angry to other players but Devs who decided to change it 3 times and doing a drop rate 0.03 since it was included (222years for a player to reach 3333 attempts with 1 character) :
- You could spam the dungeon with a single character
- One attempt daily for any 14+ character
- Now you must be max level -10 to queue the dungeon.
The last update just did the farm worse because if i don’t get it this year without any change announcement, i need to level up almost 40 characters to 60 for next expansion.
I think it could be like the first iteration, any player could spam the dungeon with a single character, however it’s just a boring fight without any fun gameplay that will cause a huge burn out, but at least collectors won’t need alts (Still insane drop rate and i think Devs didn’t continue MoP WB drop rates on other WB expansions because of the same issues, similar with this mount).
Idk, give them gold maybe?

Every player should be able to get holiday items 100% if they participate in the activities. This is a game, simple as that. 
There should be no rng whatsoever.
Leave low drop rates for raid mounts.
I am running this event on 41 chars myself and I can say that kind of time shouldn’t be needed in the first place. The few players that got incredibly lucky will get over it. They should make changes that are better for the game overall.

The only solution they can (On paper it sounds like) is to up the drop chance. That’s it… They don’t need to make elaborate, confusing, and exhausting measures in earning things. Its going to be another year for many who didn’t get it to drop for them. Its especially hurtful for those who LOVE to collect things. Again, all they can do and simply help with it is upping that drop chance. Why is it so difficult for them to do that?

lol Exactly. I’ve been farming this thing with an army for years… I would be very happy if they just slapped it on the vendor and let me farm bracelets or something.

You become an unreasonable person when you deal with unreasonable people.
And unreasonable people for me are those who think it’s perfectly normal to sit for hours blasting 50 (multiply by X number of accounts) characters through a sub minute encounter while having to deal with instance lockout. For 15 tries each character out of the year.

That’s sad to hear. I’ve saved mounts in my bank before, in hopes I could one day give them away.
I have more than just a few toons I am running through Crown right now. I just figure I might pop on to GD later and use Muffin here to spam run it for people if they need. Might help the queue times a bit, at least.
I’m 55 here, having already farmed it for 16 years or something? So in 16 more years, I’ll be 71. I’m only doing it on my 3 “mains” since I’m not going to make 40 characters to have a chance at a mount.
I’ll be poor and in a home or something. Other people will be talking about “lost love” and I’ll be talking about the “one that got away.”
“Well there was this one, she got away from me. I’ll call her the X-45 Heartbreaker.”

No what he is saying is that you need a full dungeon group to get in, but 1 geared person can beat it solo. You shouldn’t even need a tank or healer to join, it should just be 5 DPS at this point, or as soon as 5 people join the queue it starts.
They just need to adjust the drop rate in line with other rare mount drops, taking it into account it is only available for 2 weeks.
Some ppl have been running it all these years on dozens of characters, it’s a bit ridiculous
It is too rare when people are getting old literally farming for it. I don’t care how special anyone feels on it. Or that they need people to feel jealous of them to feel good about themselves. The drop rate is too low.

I tend to agree with OP, and I myself don’t have the mount and farm it on a large amount of characters every day the event is up. I personally just like the feeling of seeing that thicc loot pop up on my screen, it’s why I enjoy farming rare drops more than a mount you get from doing boring dailies for a month. I rarely end up using those daily mounts either. Then when I don’t get it each year I just forget about it until the next, it’s not a huge deal. The fact that the thing is still pretty uncommon to see someone on after how long it’s been in the game is cool to me. I’d totally welcome a slight drop increase, but to make it as common as the brewfest and headless horseman would be pretty lame. I rarely use those mounts because I mean, most people have them. They aren’t very exciting to see. It’s like seeing your basic horse mount from the vendor, and I know that I only use the more ~shiny~ mounts I own. Idk just my thoughts. No bully pls 
It’s a mount from arguably some of the most trivial content in the game.
Give it a break.
