Ay. As an enh shaman, do you go for your hex on the healer or 2nd dps during bolt go’s? and when you do go to hex, do you try to use your ven rift ability to bait kicks?
Follow the warrior’s lead and press W all the way.
Probably just on the healer unless he’s already cc’d. It’s turbo don’t overthink it.
Cast it whenever you can but don’t waste time juking when you can be doing more big dam. It’s also a win/win - either you land it and the healer’s cc’d, or - you get kicked and that leaves your healer open to cast.
Not a enh player but just my 2c.
you should be doing damage
most of the time you want your rdruid/mw to push in for incap on bolt or your hpal priest to stun on bolts
hex whenever someone gives it to you by standing in the middle of the map or off things like fear hoj blind ect
don’t spend the entire game looking for hexes though you don’t need them and you’ll fall super far behind tunneling inefficient hexes
shearing rshams or sheeps is also a really good window to get a free hex
don’t be afraid to ask for intervene to protect from physical kicks if the hex will swing a game and you can 100% get it
same with hpal aura mastery
I feel like it’s kind of an opportunistic thing. Like, if you can just hardcast it in the middle of the arena and get the healer then that’s great, but you’ve got to remember that you’re losing damage by doing this as well as putting you and your team in a potentially rough spot if you get interrupted and can’t heal.
You can also look for hexes when kiting away from your warrior, like when either avoiding damage on you, or the enemy team is cleaving super hard (ret wings, abom limb) then you can either look for hex on healer to counter pressure or defensively onto dps.
Just don’t try to be a mage and do it off cd/dr or anything. It’s easy to waste time/damage.
afk and let war do all the work?
thats what i would do. work smarter not harder.
yeah that’s the move !
i like ur thinking
Yeah. Don’t let go of that pocket
Don’t overthink it. You want to be doing max damage and using heals/harvest when healer is cc’d.
Don’t blow all 10 charges of maelstrom unless absolutely necessary.
Hexing is fine, but not worth spam juking for it. If you get kicked on it, fine - one less kick for your healer to worry about. If it lands, great - zugzug as hard as you can during it.
Quality advice man. Wish more posts were this way
You play turbo. You do damage, use hex to force the healer to line aka not healing their team; which in turn forces his team to TRY to reposition for heals, often compromising the position of the healer, where they take damage resulting in cooldowns, resulting in their eventual demise. Try to ground/shear important things not just anything.
Y’all should win just by not throwing in the first 2mins tbh, turbo ooms healers really fast if you do those things ^
Thanks for all the replies.
You all make it sound like I should just literally be doing dmg, but I always feel like I gotta constant heal/baby my war and he’s gotta literally stop enemy go’s/leap away/etc. We go in fine, then we just literally seem to crumble and I honestly just wanna ook people. I heal/ground big spells and even shear mg’s/sheeps. It just feels like it’s an uphill battle every game.
biggest thing with turbo is doing as much damage as you possibly can and not dying
just have your war stormbolt a kill target every 30 seconds, if the war is even playing stormbolt AND DO LARGE DAMAGE
standing near a healer while still doing damage is really good too, it lets you land shears and shears as turbo are terrifying
Best way to learn how to play enhance in arena is to practice your pve rotation in sepulcher
turbo is really bad at boxing other cleaves
spear is an incredibly powerful defensive as well as offensive a lot of the time you’re forced to use it to run and recover
you 100% do have to be a second healer for your warrior and you have to know when to disengage or you’ll just die
shear and grounding are insane tools but turbo into most things isn’t an overwhelming force atm
if you wanna just straight up w key something play ret/war
more dam more durable better cc significantly higher damage
it’s reverse turbo where it doesn’t LOVE qing into wizards but does love qing into everything else
is retwar just zug as hard as humanly possible: the cleave or something
