you’re not wrong, but at the same time the game is not designed with solo play in mind and so acting incredulous when the solo experience reaches a wall is just silly
Where have i been incredulous whenever the solo experience reaches a wall?.. 
I’ve accepted that i will eventually hit a wall when going solo, which is why i corrected her on her saying “solo RPG’s” to “single-player RPGs”, because single-player games doesn’t stop you from seeing all the content because there’s other players in your game. Solo does.

if you’re going to take the literal words of a single line on the back of a box for a different game (yes, Vanilla was a different game by design) then you should read the whole thing, and the second half of it carries the implication of quests, i.e. the overworld, aka not dungeons/raiding, where the bulk of group content is, and what the endgame is designed around

Yes, you can ignore players by going to their profile and muting them.
I suggest you do that to Veleth and Baridorielor, they are known trolls on the forums and white knights who derail discussion.

You still can. You just won’t get the loot. And let’s face it, with Shadowlands, you didn’t even get a game if you just solo. You got a series of time gated short weekly events.
Click View Activity underneath either Veleth or Baridorielor’s name, top right there’s an option that says “Normal”, you click that and go to “Ignored” to not see their troll whiteknight posts.
