So because more effort was put into an entire race and class than the CD for a class, the race definitely isn’t lazy? That is an exceedingly low bar man. A much closer comparison is what you can do with worgen form and dragon form, and worgen get to tmog every armor slot albeit helms don’t work very well. This also came out something like 10 years ago, we expect more not the same or debatably less.

To be fair a dragon race has been a long ask…but we could have skipped Envoker and gotten Tinker for everyone instead.

Chances are we will never get a Tinker or Necromancer. Class introduction is used as a tool to leapfrog content in a meaningful way, and the time to introduce a Tinker would have been BfA and SL for Necromancer.
The limited class thing, is a complaint that won’t go away. Blizzard obviously loosens restrictions on just about every other class and race, so, eventually they will probably do this. My suggestion to Blizzard is that they make the change when it makes sense, but not too late, so that the community gets up in arms about the entire thing.

this is the problem. the bigger the corp, the more hands in the supply chain. nothing is streamlined. every person of note, wants to add their approval on every item, so what would normally take an hour takes a week.
sounds like they need better organization set up your people into 3-4 groups
1 group just for items with only 1 guy at top approving stuff
group 2: races same deal, group 3: etc

Yeah, which is why I think the CC needs to speed this up. Put the buzz in Blizzards ear. It’s pretty obvious that people will initially love the Evoker class, then, as they get bored, will want to go back to their race of choice and question why they can’t be an Evoker, especially after going to the Dragon Isles and doing dragon stuffs.
I loath that they are basically druid forms as a race, not having mog options is a crippling flaw for me.
