It sounds like you don’t know what opinions are. Your opinion on the situation…isn’t exactly what everyone else wants champ.
Proof of what I just said to you.
They limited DKs from being allied races until just recently, why not have them all be able to when they started. Oh. Yeah. RP game and narrative. Hmm its almost like Neltharion designed them to be one specific thing and they would have to spend time learning others. That kinda makes sense when you think about it. You just have issues with that action it seems.
They have been recycling content for a long, long time. The reuse that drives me the craziest is all the small icons. Watch how many new abilities and items have artwork from the last expac, or the one before, etc…
they had 3 starting areas. their own capital city. 2 flight points. could play priest, paladin, dk, mage, hunter, shaman and warrior. had their own faction, rep, introduced the jeweler profession, had structures in outlands, their own gods (the naaru), their own social order and religion, spaceships, came in 2 genders, had their own special mounts in different colors, even a paladin elekk, etc, etc. omygosh.
Unless something is in the works that I don’t know about, the dragon ‘mount’ form is going to have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM that Druid forms have; inability to display gear and transmog, which has been a MASSIVE thorn in a lot of players’ side since transmog was introduced.
In fact, nothing in what you quote was an opinion, it’s all fact.
I’ll certainly yield that my thoughts on Two Forms are indeed strictly my own (though I’d be willing to bet there’s more than Worgen player out there that agrees with me), but again, there’s no opinion on display up there outside of the Two Forms remark. You are going to need more transmog to cover your forms than not, unless you’re willing to accept how your character looks across forms OR you just neglect one for the other (likely your combat form, given that’s what you’ll be spending most of your time actually doing in this game).
Except lore-wise LITERAL SPACEFARING ALIENS were capable of being raised as DKs in service of the Lich King’s assault in Wrath, despite being pretty damn exclusive to Outland at the time (at least as far as memory serves, and books shouldn’t count).
The point is that it is needlessly mechanically restrictive. And is it going to be one class for the entire expansion? So however long this lasts worth of a single class?
and if you’re a female player on alliance you get to play the single female race on the alliance, who already has more options than the rest of the alliance females lol man gimme some elf female visage, so i can be have an elf with alot of options
I wouldn’t worry too much like I said people think lore that hasn’t even made it live is already some massive immutable living being incapable of having any changes before release. I honestly believe the lore was to cover for the fact that so much went into the new class and all it’s new “stuff”(dang filter) they didn’t think they had time to do the animations for the other classes. Well it’s okay because I’m sure once I slap a Dracthyr with my skymirror on another class all my abilities will work fairly well, might be a few like roll/torpedo that have issues.
The fact its a problem is the opinion there champ.
What does TBC have to do with anything after WotLK. Regular spaegoats weren’t even allied races…and the DK intro stuff happened after the events of TBC…
No, the point is you are mad you have to play a race you don’t want to to be the class, and that race can’t be anything else at the launch. Cry me a river man, seriously. We could use more rivers in this country.
