What do you mean “I can’t possibly think” lol there’s so much variables that points to that it won’t be as bad that idk what else I can say.
There’s a lot less “attraction” to them because they aren’t ‘new’ anymore. Even back in the day if people didn’t want to reroll one necessarily, almost everyone made one to see what the new leveling zones and classes were like. I remember back then a ton of people made one just to see what their /dance and /jokes were.
People aren’t going to be doing much of that anymore, or course some will, but it’s not like everyone is dying to see what the zones are like lol they know what they are like.
So the only people who are going to be rolling them are really just people who plan on rerolling to one.
And yes, sure, raids will need shamans. But for every 5 people who reroll shamans there’s 20 more who are staying their own class. Not to mention, these zones don’t ‘have’ to be started in. Because of the nature of their release, in the prepatch, people will be boosting the ever living hell out of these classes. I bet you’ll see a lot of these shamans or Paladins booking it to the closest zone like nightelf starting area or even get summoned to the human area ASAP.
Most of these people who are serious about leveling are starting in these areas lol. They don’t care what the zone looks like they just want to level.
These zones will probably start to dwindle down to a more stable number in no time imo.
Sure, some mega servers might be worse than others. But this is by no means going to be a “OPEN 50 LAYERS NOW” type situation like you guys are making it sound lol
