What I can’t seem to understand is what blizzard was thinking with the original server caps. Layering aside, queues aside - there are natural resources in the world that spawn at fixed rates that were appropriate for vanilla pop caps. How did they think anything good would come of their initial decisions? Layering is necessary for more than just not sitting in the queue - if there are 5x the players on a server, the resources would have to spawn 5x as fast to maintain a similar experience to vanilla. The world would have to be 5x as large, and the servers would have to be able to support 5x the amount of people. You sit here and wonder why the server crashes when an onyxia buff goes out, or why BRM is a slide show on Tuesday night. You wonder why BWL launch was unplayable on Herod. Like, HELLO?

There’s more than just 2 realms with ridiculous queues during peak. Why revert layering on only 2 realms when botting is contributing to prolonged, peak queue times on other realms too?
If there’s no preventative for the botting issue as yet, surely all affected realms would warrant lesser/no login queues for legitimate players until such preventative can be implemented!?

Can you, in the meantime, find solutions to remove layers indefinitely please? It really sucks for world immersion.
Its really stupid to be like “hey there’s ally at x get him” and you’re there wondering where he is only to realize that he’s on a different layer. And thats just one example, you can disengage from unwanted fights by layering.
Where’s the feeling of treading lightly in a contested zone when you can just disengage from fights?

Come on reopen the transfers to Grobbulus already. You guys really hurt people by not announcing you would be closing transfers down. You should have given people a 24 hour warning. I got screwed myself, my group was moving there to join other friends who had been there, and right when I was ready to make the move to join my buddies you guys had closed the transfers off. That’s really crappy. And no I’m not going to just reroll. I’ve put over half a year into my characters.
Grobbulus doesn’t even have a queue so it’s weird to be locked like it is. At least open it for a day to see how it goes
