Its a 15 year old game that we do not have an alternative to experience anywhere else now anymore. And people vocally calling out for bs changes ensures means its gonna die here.
If i had the option to play on another pserver and experience a vastly superior recreation of vanilla thatn whatever classic is, id not care. But I can not.

lmao “experience” yes wow such experience, slamming through comically easy content once a week. The only reason this game is remotely good is the community around it, that’s all classic is. Whatever experience you thought you’d get, you set yourself up for disappointment and are complaining that it didn’t live up to your expectations, it’s a 15 year old game, calm down.

Queues, original lotus quarrels, old AV etc… it all shapes the experience. Layering is the worst thing for an experience, since I will never meet the people on the other layer unless i start layer abusing. Not to mention that I do not meet another big chunk of actual players because now blizzard does not have to adress the botting issue and a big part of players are bots.
Say what you want about pservers but they dealt with bots and they did not use layers or layering or had to change how lotus works because A) they were smart enough to allow AV lotuses and B) actually cared about the game their players experienced.

Can you at least remove layers in cities? It is so freakin’ frustrating trying to get buffed. Honestly, layering should only be turned on between about 7pm to midnight.

Basing the game on its 1.12 state is already making it unfaithful to the original.
This is correct, but it costs Blizzard the most money - active GMs and banning the paying bots. I would vastly prefer that to layering, but I know where Blizzard’s priorities are.

It would of be been nice to be notified that they were going to go back to locked status as well. My account had characters I wanted to rename. Deleted them all by accident, not that account is locked out of the server again. GG.
