Yeah, it is also going to ruin release.
However beta ruins the server release.
It should have already been out but blizzard wanted everyones $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Blizzard is still releasing bugged content for a game 15 years old?
LOL!!!$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!
This looks like is the same bug they have on live.
I have been farming arcane crystals and Iâve lost count the number on times Iâve approached a node and then it disappears as I get there, or while Iâm mining it.
I know there is a thing in Bfa where nodes are shared and disappear after 30 secs. But I waiting watching a node for over a minute just to check, went down and then it disappeared.
Itâs extremely frustrating.
Make sure the bug is reported and not just whining on the forums.
Yes, but how would you get in another layer if you havenât ever met anyone in it?
Except layering only matters at the startâŠand will be in forever once it gets through the first week.
Is blizzard paying you to be so blind?
Point is the economy will be ruined if layering goes live at start.
Oh trust me I get it. I am completely against it.
Blizzard does not care.
You can communicate with them through various chat / guild chat etc, and even if theyâre people you met on the same layer, you can hop layers yourself by logging to an alt and back to main to hop yourself as in the clip. Now if you ask your friends to do the hop method and place them in various locations on the map, you can effectively mine and strip an entire zone of its resources through good organizing and communication.
What are you even talking about? Are you incapable of having a conversation without putting someone down?
I asked a question. I will assume from your response the answer is yes?
Edit: Oh and by the way if you are at all in favor of layering / sharding / etc you are the enemy.
When did I say I was for it? Iâm not.
Okay? Well then you were not put down.
No, it doesnât actually ruin it.
While it may not be in the same spirit as Classic was intended, I am okay with layering for when Classic goes live.
If you arenât, that shows 1. you arenât currently in the beta and 2. you werent around when Classic or BC went live.
There werenât Layers ( aka sharding ) back in Classic or BC, your point is moot.
By all means, if you donât care about the economy or who you see around you when you quest / play Iâm sure youâll have a grand olâ time.
Lets just hope they just make about 25 classic servers so we wont need layering
Wreck em Jorwala!
You may not like layering, but can you imagine the absolute frothing at the mouth that would happen without it. When people canât log in because the servers are full, and the people who can log in canât do anything because the servers are on fire.
Theyâll remove it when itâs no longer needed. Theyâre not gonna make a bunch of servers that will just be empty when the hype ends.
I donât actually care who sees me when I quest! As long as I am grouped with my friends, Iâm good. When I quest now, there is no shortage of people who 1. need help killing mobs 2. spam for help killing mobs/quests.
And actually the point about BC/Classic is not moot. When BC and Classic released and as many of you remember WOD), logging in and trying to connect was NOT okay. The game wasnât playable. If layering for a month or two will help diminish the stress of the server so more people can play, Iâm okay with that.
If Blizz sticks to the original plan and only keeps layering in for a brief bit to diminish server stress, people need to stop freaking out. Also, if you think for a brief moment that there will be a thriving economy the first week or two out of Classic, youâre sorely misinformed.
Already, I can tell the people who havenât played Classic just by the prices they list of dropped blues. SOmeone had a blue up for like 25g for a lvl 20 something item. No one has that king of gold at that level. Thatâs a dream. Like, I was happy I had 3 gold at lvl 20. Well, until I trained my professions and talents then that money went away.
While there are 100% downsides to the layering/sharding and they should be recognized, I think the server stability should be the priority.
Thatâs what weâre testing in the Beta. How is the layering working? Is it? Does it effect quests? People? How will tomorrows stress test effect it?
There are no shortage of people playing, even in the beta. There will be no shortage of people playing in Classic. So youâre point about not seeing anyone when you quest is not a viable argument.
Original Classic was a massive success without layering and it can be without it launching this August. You can wait in the queue and experience classic as it was, or keep advocating for changes that will affect gameplay and economy âlayeredâ servers.
Yes and the true vanilla fans would embrace that frothing while drinking it with their own frothing.
Down with classic.
