I’m just waiting for the day that Activision CEOs tell Blizz to implement premium subscriptions. Want to skip that queue? Premium subscription.
I wouldn’t put it past them. xD

Blizzard please respond to your thousands of paying customers!
Dear American friend,
That would indeed help Kotick buy another yacht. To which i think is currently the company goal
I am aware that generally speaking, the Blizzard team are sometimes slow to respond to concerns… I remain hopeful however that due to the nature of this particular issue, their communication will be expedited.
Our next raid is scheduled for tomorrow night (Wednesday night for our USA brothers and sisters) and hopefully we will be able to raid together with our full guild!
I shall remain hopeful with you my brother.
We had to merge with another guild last night for a 20/20 split run with a bunch of people left out in the cold, missing the first AQ40 and therefore not getting to experience progression raiding with their guild members and friends.
It’s a massive let down for some of our guys who have been looking forward to this for months, only to have it denied by a sudden, arbitrary and unnecessary change that helps absolutely no one.
Who doesn’t need more yachts in times like this?

They could add an exclamation point to the end to make the statement feel more impactful!
My poor guild mate donated like 5k copper bars to the war effort and couldn’t even do the raid he helped unlock. F
Because this is undoubtedly the result of a directive handed down by the higher ups. They can’t say “Sorry guys, we knew this was a stupid decision, we told them this was a stupid decision and they don’t listen to us.”
That’s a big oof.
I feel for the folks who were trying to get the Battle Tank but got screwed over by all this.
There’s some tom-foolery going on. Like that time Kotick gave himself a 40m bonus after firing 700 customer support staff
Yup…
Get your NR gear! Stockpile your consumes! Learn the fights! Get your frost weapons! Grind out that CC rep!
oh, you can’t even login for raid night, oh well, whatever you do certainly don’t go complain on the forums about it, you might upset the americans!
It’s 9pm where Blizzard is. What about time zones?
Not really an argument today, they’ve had all day to say something. Yesterday was what I was referring to when he said ‘timezone’.
I’m not American, but it’s 'kay.
The only they’ve got wrong is the business 101 concept of listening to your customers. Definitely flunked that class.
Lol i feel that day is coming closer and closer xD
Right now i would 100% pay a couple more bucks for queue security, they already got me hooked!
um, well…it is, but that’s ok.
They tend not to make statements on things like this for a while, even if they do end up fixing the problem. Usually players make a big stink about it for a while, and Blizz is silent for a while as they bounce it up and down the chain of command, weigh their options, decide what to do, and then they announce it and do it.
But I agree that it would be nice for some of these issues if they would just come out and say “We understand the issue and we’re weighing our options for how to address it. We’ll give you more updates on this when we can.” Obviously there’s always going to be some blowback, but it seems like that would reduce the frustration overall.
Hopefully they’ll do what you want them to do eventually, and sooner rather than later. Maybe they’ll flip the switch during maintenance.
Fingers crossed mate
To be fair to Blizzard, a couple hundred players seems like EVERYONE to us in the forums, but in reality it is much less than 1% of the playerbase. So the phrase “so many” is distorted.
NO company can satisfy 100% of its customers. NO company can obey the commands of 1% of its customers. So Blizzard’s action is normal behavior for a retail company with paying customers.
But I am surprised that Blizzard hasn’t commented and/or taken action. I posted a similar question about 5 days ago. No Blizzard response.
I am NOT suprised that Blizzard refuses to obey demands from a tiny group of complainers, protesters and hashtaggers. And it won’t “negotiate with” that group. This is not a modern college. This is the real world.
In other words (in my opinion) flooding the forum with hashtags HURTS the situation, rather then HELPing it. The natural reaction of any company is to REJECT any “demands” by a tiny group of customers.
Let’s hope that the people in charge at Blizzard are more mature than the protestors, and take some kind of action to help players on Arugal.
Blizzard is earning millions each year from OCE and yet they found it fair to drop this bombshell on us as they left for the weekend.
I hope they had a better weekend than us.
4000 players in queue each night. 5000 others stressed into keeping themselves online and logging in the middle of the day from work so that they can play later at night.
Let’s start with them.
The self tasked forum police pale in comparison.
