war effort was completed the other day on yojamba just waiting for RP walk to be completed then a 10hr war…

People are extremely lacking upstairs they all want everyone else to move so no one will.

i rerolled on Yojamba, my character was only 2 days old, haven’t played wow since early cataclysm.

But you like the “community” being split in 2/3 ? And having to group with your friends to see them ?

That’s a great idea help him open the gates, see now you are being proactive!

You have mismanaged the realms and realm transfers so much that we NEED layers on these servers to play the game properly now. Without layers we need to join the queue at 2pm (remotely by the way because WE HAVE JOBS BLIZZARD) just so we can play the video game a 7pm on a raid night. Do you understand how annoying and stressful it is? Classic should be free at this point. Both games should be free with how out of touch you are with your community on every level.

Surely there’s something wrong with paying for a service you can’t access in Australia

Where’s the ombudsman when you need them

you can access the service, there’s just a wait time on one realm. blizzard is entirely protected by their eula, which you agreed to. moreover, there is a warning before you make a character on full realms that says stuff like this mgiht happen.

No you are wrong. Its is illegal to sell a service that doesn’t provide whats stated. Its also illegal to sell a service that is crippled. What we sign at the start is all b.s. companies have to comply with local laws.

At launch Arugal was the only PVP realm available

Incorrect.

Blizzard can put anything in the EULA that they like. But they still must follow local law.

If it’s illegal in Australia, the EULA is invalid and the ACCC will take them to court.

but its not illegal you can access the game as intended - if your local mcdonalds has a queue and you really want a mcflurry you’ll go to the other mcdonalds, otherwise you wait your turn

yeah i think people are misunderstanding their own consumer laws. thanks for the backup rajit, but i think the individuals in this thread will believe whatever they want.

It’s funny, but a non-australian wouldn’t understand Australian consumer laws.

Americans have this silly notion that “no refunds, you get what you get” is acceptable. That is illegal in Australia.

Australians get what they pay for, and if they don’t, they get what they pay for and a refund.

That’s just how it is in the land down under.

You aren’t paying an ongoing subscription fee to McDonalds.

If Netflix had a queue during peak times to access it’s services, you would immediately cancel your subscription without a second thought.

I’ve cancelled my subs. not in anger but hoping it will flag with them that this is not a great move.

ACCC won’t go far, service is there on other servers.

thank you for being reasonable and mature.

well i mean you do pay a subscription fee to mcdonalds - you pay them, they give you a service

you’re not gonna cancel your car registration because there’s traffic on one of the roads you use, you use another road or route

netflix is on a completely different and a much larger, global scale and it’s quite obvious that you’re not quite understanding that you cannot dispute or report one specific part of a service when the service as a whole is available and ready for you to use.
