People like you are the problem, thinking that Blizzard will intentionally lie to the players. Just because you donât like what you hear, or things donât get done the way you want when you want means Blizzard is lying or incompetent. If they were they wouldnât still be one of the top game developers.

and yet blizzard has admitted they were right about people exploiting it, and that it would be getting nerfed.
They used to be more communicative and direct but them a lot of players took things said during development to be gospel or they overreacted and over analyzed every single word.

But not to the point that itâs going to break the economy. If you just read here, you would think 3/4 of every server are layer hopping.
if it wasnât an issue they wouldnât be fixing it. clearly itâs enough to have an impact.
yeah obviously forums blows everything out of proportion, but it is clearly detrimental and a problem.
Did I say it wasnât an issue? I just said it wasnât to the point the hundred threads made it out to be.
Sure but they also pointed out that people are grossly over exaggerrating or flat out lying about the actual impact that itâs having on the economy. So the nerfs seem more aimed at people who trying to tag rare spawns or what not.

Just that it wasnt happening to anywhere near the extent that was being cried about, with some using blantant fake info.
Basically they said its a minor issue, and we are gonna take some quick minor changes to try and curb some of the worst examples of it but its not some crazy problem or they would have acted much sooner and much more drastically if what people were saying resembled reality.
