Lay The High Elf Movement To Rest

It’s not that you shouldn’t be able to play them with the blue eyes. It’s just that the High Elves with blue eyes shouldn’t be added in as an entirely separate race because we now already have playable High Elves on each faction. If Blizzard was going to add them in, then the only sensible time to do that would have been when Blood Elves were released, but even then, there would be no difference between the two. Due to the way the storyline was written, it makes no sense to add them as a cosmetic Horde option, or a separate Alliance race.

Blizzard has always said blood elves will eventually get their natural eye color back, so no.

Any high elf that didn’t support leaving the original alliance was exiled. The snobs that couldn’t admit their own shortcomings remained.

What y’all actually want which would be the answer to this is abolishing factions and just playing belves as your alliance helves but you aren’t brave enough to say it.

No, I think what they actually want is playable Alliance High Elves.

Or Blizz could actually try with their story telling. There’s no reason why Lorthemar couldn’t say “Hey soon to be Void Elves, if you mess with that void stuff you know you can’t be near the main city or the sunwell right? But we’ll build you guys your own settlement if you share your knowledge with us.”

But nope, hand over new super powered weapons to the alliance.

this idea that they aren’t blood elves is officially dead and buried

the fight was lost/won today

I’ve been arguing this for absolute yonks

After this many Azeroth-threatening things, why do we still have factions again given how many times we have to team up to beat them up?

Just, shove factions off to the side as a PvP only thing

Yeah because who doesn’t want to be apart of a faction that just tried to execute your leader and people?!

“Okay, no, that is stupid and you should feel bad.”

-Blizzard and the majority of the player base

What, because they might be adding blue eyes for Sin’Dorei? What does that change? In our eyes nothing. In Blizzard’s and selfish Blood Elf players’? The end, because of course those lot continue to make the paper argument eye colour is the only difference.

It is rather odd considering Blizzard make this game, what with the Silver Covenant faction, Alleria and them literally singling out Sin’Dorei and Quel’Dorei as recently as Legion.

We wouldn’t be here if they hadn’t continued to represent Quel’Dorei in the game. How can players not think it’s a taunt at this point with all added up? The portal master to Arathi is a bloody High Elf.

And yet they just added them as a cosmetic Horde option.

Blizzard’s dev team live to troll Alliance players. It’s sad. Absolute manchildren.

The Silver Covenant has an unresolved story about perpetrating collective punishment with arbitrary and extrajudiciary imprisonment or execution… mostly of civilians. Other war crimes at the time were punished but they squeaked by. Something that was recently brought back up. I think Blizzard has other plans for the Silver Covenant, ones which do not end in them becoming playable.

Thanks for the brilliant response.

You don’t have to visit them you know.

The king is still ruling. The assailant is done.

He’s just here for mischief. He even said so.

Are you referencing the purge? Only those who resisted were imprisoned/killed, the rest were allowed to leave peacefully.

You really are ‘by name by nature’.

Yes please. Enough elves in the game already. Don’t need more.
