And yet void elves and panderen(those that joined the factions are only one school worth of people) have even less members but are playable.
I like the Void Elf models, I just don’t like how they were grafted onto the Alliance when clearly people liked high elves as they were.
The playerbase should have accepted the fact they were not going to get High Elves. If they had, they would have gotten a better allied race than Void Elves.

if you want to play a high elf, make a blood elf on the horde. if thats too much they gave you void corrupted high elves. thats the compromise and we all know it. lets move on to other races

Not only that, what I find hillarious is that the loudest cries come from the casuals, rather than the roleplayers who actually appreciate the lore.
What bothered me about them was the lack of warm tones in honesty. I did not like the blue because it reminded me too much of night elves. That’s my actual complaint with them.
They might say they added Void Elves out of pity, but many old players see it as an act of spite. There isn’t a better race than High Elves right now and won’t be until they add a new one that is somehow more compelling lore wise.

how about no? alliance players want their high-elves. blizz should’ve given them to’em instead of ink-dipped, hot-topic wearing, loreless, emo, goth-wannabe elves (whose women are randomly british).

Yeah, cause that’s the only thing that keeps us hanging on.
Every 15$ counts, who knows one of these thirsty ERPer would quit if Ion said no for the 2nd times.
