I was just looking at my launcher and I had already installed wow classic and played on it, but now it says to install on it? Is this due to the changes for TBC? It looks like I do not have to install TBC however. I assuming this is because classic has converted to TBC and if you want classic wow you’ll need to install again?
Classic will be a standalone client after the maintenance.
so yes you need to install the new classic client if you want to play there

Ok thanks for the clarification!
i just saw that too, it’s small, only took a couple minutes on my phone hotspot 4glt internet.
Thank goodness for that, the big update on retail was 23 g and took almost an hour. Had to buy more data to get it done lol.

I just upgraded my TBC. My “free space on disk” went from 730 gb to 727 gb.
Then I did the “install Classic”. It was quick, and I was still at 727 gb.
