Latest Cinematic proves the Devs love the horde

They gave us Garrosh, who everyone hated for two expacs, and he turned evil and led us to the worst expac before BfA. That sucks for the Horde.

They gave us Voljin who was cool enough, but he was only Warchief for one expac, and he did literally nothing since the Horde vs Alliance aspect was gone in WoD, then he got killed by a trash mob. That sucks for the Horde.

Then they gave us Sylvanas, who ended up being an evil Lich Queen who only wants to make the Forsaken stronger, and is abusing OUR FACTION to do so. That sucks for the Horde.

So no, they’re setting up Saurfang to be the new warchief, and they’re making sure that it’s done well, and that we actually like and respect him. He has backstory. He has character. He’s a leader we want to follow. The Horde is finally getting a solid Warchief, something we’ve been denied since Cataclysm released.

Alliance wouldn’t know, they’ve had a good king since WoTLK released. It’s not bias, it’s justice, its an apology for screwing up the Horde leadership for a decade. Once you’ve had to endure the Alliance being the center of bad decision after bad decision and poor storytelling to an embarrassing degree, you will get your series of cinematics, and I will not complain.

Try joining an Alliance raiding guild and then tell us it’s not dead

You have to take everything else with it too. We’ll take the revolving High King seat and complete story and development focus for a while but you also have to deal with your cities and playable races being wiped out, recolored horse mounts, bad racials, being made fun of at Blizzcon, everything.

You calling Shaw and Blightcaller liars? Also you are talking about a young and over emotional teenager who didn’t even have the foresight to prepare his troops against the blight when attacking the blight capital of the world. Not really the tactical genius you seem to be making him out to be.

Cool. But that has nothing to do with whats being talked about.

It’s everything to do with it.

The Alliance playerbase is holding together with string, duct tape and hope and what does Blizzard do to help? Shove them into a corner for the entire expansion and expect no one to care.

you should pay attention to alliance questing more cause after BoD shaw even says the alliance is weeks away from winning the war and on the horde side even nathanos says victory is within their grasp

Got it.

So when Genn references that the Alliance troops are dead, he is refering to player raids.

Yeah okay, ill take all those. No issues, i only ever use the herbalism mount or the sandstone dragon mount anyway. 10000000 re-colored horses or whatever wont change it. Have already seen Orcs, Blood elves and Forsaken being wiped out. Meh doesnt make a difference.

Take my useless hub city over the course of the expansion i think i have spent close to 10k just flying from the great seal to the port.

But give me the 15-30% bonus to exp you can keep AOO and a ever stagnant 10%. Hell we can trade all racials, that 1k or 2k extra dps doesnt matter to me cause im not a cutting edge high end raider.

Edit: replied to the wrong person! Oops, i hope the night elf who commented sees this

He won’t. He’s a true believer.

Content completion, written on script by Blizzard because it doesn’t like Alliance. You heard it here first folks, the race for world first is a scam! It’s more scripted than WWE and it’s predetermined that Alliance lose.

He doesnt understand the completion rate went down for both sides. He believes every horde that was in legion is still grinding out the content like back in legion.

Assasination attempt Anduin and Genn randomly rock up “oh hey guys! I see you’re taking flack from all those undead assassins aye? That sucks… Well, good to see you are ok. Have a nice day now.”

I understand that, but if you don’t understand what the leaderboards mean for alliance completion vs horde completion then there’s not much else to say since it will just go over your head.

Basically, if the devs actually cared we’d be seeing more parity since the alliance is at a major player engagement disadvantage.

I keep having to say this but people just aren’t listening - the alliance is getting GNOME TORSOS!!!

The alliance is going to have dismembered gnomes with junk glued to their stumps as a likely allied race and you think there’s a HORDE bias? You’re delusional. Show me where the horde is getting the chance to have horribly mutilated quadruple amputees on their side and maybe I’ll listen, but fat, bald, GNOME TORSOS clearly show the devs giving everything meaningful to the alliance.

I mean what is the horde getting, fox people? Who wants those? Maybe one or two but not the literally BILLIONS of people who want dismembered gnomes. Come on…

Yes the leaderboards are being affected i agree. But its not because of the story. Its because of busted racials back from previous expansions. That caused top end guilds to swap over.

Its a trickle down effect. Top raid guilds leave and start recruiting. People join the side with top end guilds. Alliance side has lesser people to recruit from and people start joining horde more cause there arent enough people on alliance side.

But calling that horde bias on the story side seems to be the dumbest thing anyone can say.

But in my personal opinion, racials dont matter unless you are going for the top 100. If you are a normal raider who raids 2 times a week for 5 hours each, the 1-2k dps variance isnt that huge.

Not at all. The development team doesn’t designate who plays what faction, players do.

Almost everyone in the Race for World first plays Horde because of the player base not the story.
Pretty sure most of those people couldn’t give two rats about the story of the game.
Alliance subjectively had a much easier entrance into BoD as it was since most players considered Grong to be more of a block than Jadefire Masters which didn’t have heavy gear requirements.

I call them “fur goblins”

It surprise me how people don’t realise that Saurfang is green jesus 2.0, while most people just say that Sylvanas is Garrosh 2.0.
Anyway, if i’ll have to choose a side and a character to do cinematics, that will be Saurfang. He is keeping the true spirit of the Horde a live, and not just that, his quest is really epic, heroic and touching, more than any other important character of the lore right now.
