I recently downloaded the EU version of WoW because I usually play in the US servers and was experiencing a latency of 150+. However since I downloaded the EU version my home latency has gone down to 42ms BUT my World latency has gone up to 5000+. I have tried different servers, turning off my wifi IPV6, updating my drivers, etc… and nothing works. I have download speeds of 600+ mbps and upload speeds of about the same, I have always played on wifi and the lag I was experiencing in the US server is because I recently moved to the EU and well… that lag made sense. though it was at times a little inconvinient. Since I downloaded the EU version I cannot play, since world latency of over 5000+ makes the game unplayable. I cannot play on the US one either since the latency has gone WAY up as well. Help!
Unfortunately there’s no easy way to test your connection, especially because over the ocean connection cables are susceptible to damage from various sources.
There is the sticky post menting troubleshooting processes to try, but you appear to have dome some of them
There are eu forum to see if there are current known issues in that region. Just change US to EU.
Forgot to mention you can try a VPN connection, a server near where the server location is. I believe France, but I’m not sure for EU, and no guarantees.
