This is a mixture of the nerfs and you struggling with the new rotation. Nerfs didn’t hit that hard.
Yeah maybe, but the patch is filled with bugs. I noticed when I use evocate then start casting my int drops on the first spell, not sure if that is one of the talents, I never noticed it before.
Excuse me?!
in what respect?
The int dropping off
Yeah, i have no idea. Give it a try, i cant figure it out.
Just brought it up as maybe someone can tell if its a bug or some weird interaction.
Edit - after more testing, it might be a PVP thing, as it seems to happen on the PVP testing dummies.
that’s kind of blizzards thing, nerf repeatedly, finally figure out the root issue, nerf that, do nothing about all the other nerfs.
No they changed it in yet another last minute hotfix last night, lol.
Well guess no need to play my Arcane mage, it was actually nice being able to group with another person and bring damage to the table and not be a corpse concern. GG Devs.
Spellsinger arcane is still doing insane ST damage
No it isn’t lmao
Just check the two full single target bosses in the raid: Sikran and Princess Ky’veza and you’ll see that there’s nothing “insane” about Arcane’s damage, not to mention now its a lot more reliant on RNG due to Orb procs.
Yeah, also dropped to D tier for M+ overall, not that arcane had amazing overall, but was nice for priority mobs.
But the mob has spoken, frost might be the play for M+.
Well I’ve been watching them in keys and I’ve been seeing otherwise. The raid situation is probably because they don’t have good sustain and are completely reliant on burst
They are reliant on both burst and RNG, but anyone that saves their Spymaster is bound to explode M+ bosses depending on key level. Arcane isn’t amazing for M+ anymore since Sunfury caught so many nerfs.
Well the 3rd and 4th spot all stars in mythic raid are spellslinger arcane mages. So idk what that is about. Mage in a whole is a hot mess at the moment.
Yeah, two or three people are making it work, with optimized gear and teams.
I think they HAD a plan, to slowly bring classes up to a similar level. I think this Hail Mary nerf kind of screwed up arcane mage for mid season changes, as we can see other classes are getting buffed.
Since they already messed with the set, i cant see it being revisited until next season.

I would expect with this weeks changes for warrior, warlock and others, that would put arcane close to last on the overall damage list.
