I’m confused on why the Alliance would let the Void Elves join their ranks. They are the literal embodiment of what we are fighting against. Like when Alleria visits the Sunwell, nah girl get out you attract void lords. So weird to me.
Seems they trusted Alleria a lot. Also, Umbric did a good job winning the Alliance’s trust.
The Ren’dorei controls the void power and it can be very useful for the Alliance.
God, that is like the Titans creating Ghuun thinking they could control it.
Just going to link this here:
GIVE NELF WORGEN!
#giveworgentails
You’re right, I didn’t say that.
They were all wastes of an allied race slots. That doesn’t mean add in ARs that are even more pointless.
I don’t know. Doesn’t seem all that far-fetched anymore. I mean, Mechagnomes don’t wear pants, boots, gloves, sleeves, bracers, etc… The most that the Tol’vir would lose out on would be pants/boots, really. Mechagnomes have now established a new precedent for future ARs, and that is that not all transmog slots need to be available.
This might even be an opportunity for the Horde to capitalize on getting a Centaur AR. I’m pretty sure in one of the comics the Horde gained at least one centaur in it’s ranks.
As for the Alliance, while the Tol’vir have an established reputation, it seems like it’d be a shame NOT to include the Dryads/Keepers of the Forest as an AR, especially when the nelves need more allies within their ranks. The only real issue there is that, part of the themes and charm of the Dryads is their elusive nature, how you don’t really see them often and what not. It’s not like helves where we’ve had a race shoved in our faces expansion after expansion, fielding armies for us.
Either way, it’s an interesting thought to entertain.
Calia needs to not exist, so damn forced.
If that’s the case I just know there will be complaints about it from the other side lol, even though they kinda did that with the Nightborne as well. (realistically those should have been neutral like Pandaren, but a very flimsy reason made it so that they were only Horde)
If blizzard mantain that war is really over, and we’ll gonna face biggest threats… Well, neutral races shouldn’t be an issue anymore.
I highly doubt there’s only gonna be like one allied race each left, fel I can see allied races outnumbering core races as I doubt they would limit it.
Also why are so many folks under the impression that there’s a limit to allied races or that they are directly linked to them via culture, theme, genetics or racial skeleton? By that logic night elves have two allied races and trolls have none . . . Also where the funkwaggle do vulpera fit into this?
It wouldn’t surprise me if Sethrak were the pandaren AR and could be either or. As ar as the remaining 2 im predicting NE worgen and LF undead. They would both fit into the sideplots of 9.0 with Tyrande seeking vengeance and Calia taking over as leader of the Foresaken. Also wouldn’t be surprised if they were revealed at Blizzcon.
Blizz could go big and announce something out of left field like ogres or HE’s but I doubt it. All the races so far have been reskins that fit into the story in some way and judging by where the story is that would be my guess.
