So we’re still missing forsaken and worgen. (and pandas but yeah… doubt theyre getting one).
I want to hear your logical and fan based options for them.
For example:
Logic forsaken - Holy forsaken like Calia.
Fan Forsaken - sanlayn
Logic worgen - …
Fan - Night elf worgen (from the emerald dream/nightmare)
Its possible that Kul Tirans are the Worgen recruitment. Genn leads into it, and the Gilneans and Kul Tirans are fairly close. That being the case, Humans might be the last race to receive an AR counterpart.
What would we get from humans? Well, if Blizzard is smart, helves. Helves for the Alliance, San’layn for the Horde, and everyone will be happy.
I think saberon could be the worgen counter as a Horde race. They use the same models, their culture fits with the Horde and the dog/cat theme is fun. They are on Azeroth now anyways and it’d be a nice way to develop them more.
And I think not long ago there was also an encrypted datamined line mentioning saberon. Kind of like how vulpera were noted in advance too.
They’d be better on the Alliance. The Saberon do not have a pleasant history with the Orcs. It’s not like the ones who came over from WoD stuck around Orgrimmar, pals with the Mag’har. They fled into Kalimdor.
Only the Male Zandalari Trolls use the Male Night Elf skeleton. Females use the same rigs and nimations, minus the dance emote, as their Female Darkspear Troll cousins.
Fun Fact: The original female trolls were horrifying beyond belief. To get them in for WoW’s launch, female trolls were built from the female nelf rig.
An Alliance quest in BFA showed that one of them killed 3 forsaken then said he will just tell Sylvanas, Shandris and the ally player character did it.
Because Calia has an erection for making the undead feel warm and fuzzy.
Honestly? I don’t know for sure. Ask one of the people who are in favor of the San’layn as an AR. They do, however, make for a decent fit between belves and forsaken.
True, but in their timeline WoD happened thirty something years ago. Things could have changed in all that time in the face of the draenei fanatics. And they ran off to the Barrens so as far as we know at least they’re hanging around Horde territory.
It’s a wait and see thing for sure. But they don’t really seem to suit the Alliance to me.
It’s a wait and see thing, but from what we’ve seen, I think they could go either way, but Alliance seems the more likely path to me. Again, the Saberon fled from the Mag’har. We don’t know what their interactions with Yrel and her Lightforged were.
