Last allied race slot

I think they’re a great allied race but a lot of missed chances to explore them

Ren’dorei made a good warcampaign for the alliance, and it is the most popular allied race. So, 'disappointment 'is just your opinion, the facts shows otherwise.
But still some pro-he, im not talking about you, disdain them because they don’t have the right skincolor. At the same time, 'oh look that he mage holding a portal and a ballista! They won the whole war for us! Wow! ’

Strong racials, popular model, cheap transmogs… Not surprised they’re #1. I imagine if they were helves they’d also be #1.

I think most would’ve been happy if the velves had been the Silver Covenant transformed in an accident, rather than belves. That’s something I’ve observed, though I suppose it could always be lip-service. Can’t argue the velf skin colors do make transmog a bit of a tricky thing.

We cling to the achievements of those we are most passionate about. The Wildhammers took down Horde ships and killed off the San’layn with some help from Shandris.

So many people in the Horde were upset that the Alliance got Void Elves; the Horde’s most popular Racial skeleton. Blood Elves have been intrinsic to the Horde since 2005, when Blizzard committed the Quel’dorei Lore and History to the Horde.

So I get why you’d be upset.

Yet calling Bias for the use of a skeleton, when the Blood Elf skeleton was given, unaltered, to the Alliance, even though every other skeleton was altered, (including Night Elf to Nightborne) to me doesn’t seem right.

But we all have our opinions and hopes for the last two Allied Races. My hope is that they will be the last two ever!

Their popularity as an AR and their participation in the War Campaign don’t detract from the missed opportunities at critical plot junctures. It’s like Liam Neeson, in spite of his unique skill set developed over a very long career, putting up flyers rather than making industrious use of his abilities.

I actually think that Sethrak have a solid chance being the Pandaren Allied Race, although they have little to no ties to the Pandaren, the Sethrak hosted both the Alliance and Horde’s help in Vol’dun. Under the leadership of the Avatar of Sethraliss and Vorrik, I think they could work with either Alliance or Horde.

Saberon also seem likely to me as a solid Alliance option as they just did the reworks of the Goblin and Worgen models, giving some interesting leeway to the Saberon as they have the same rig. It was also evident that the Saberon had no good relations with the Mag’har even though they escaped together.

I think they’re equivalent enough what with each getting a variation on the other faction’s elf. I think the Horde may even have come out ahead on that count since the Nightfallen have more distinct posture and animation while the Ren’Dorei’s distinct color palate is easily obfuscated by gear. I still maintain, however, that the Ren’Dorei have more lore potential than the Nightfallen.

Personally I would have preferred the Nightborne look a little more like Night Elves on the Horde side.

But I love Night Elves.

Wildhammers are a meme faction. Unfit for Allied Race material.

Now the frostborn dwarves? Aye, lets get some crystal beards up in here.

We’ll see. I honestly don’t think there is enough there yet to make a judgement call on the Forsaken NEs. On the other hand, we do have quite a few lower ranking Dark Rangers that fell victim to Sylvie’s team rocket move. We also, for some reason, had the remaining San’layn falling into the ranks of the Horde briefly.

There are strangely three flavors of dead elves working with the Horde in BfA; it would be unwise to ignore the possibility that they might amount to some form of AR. On the other hand, while I’m not fond of them in concept … I could really get behind them if Blizz based a dead elf AR off the Nightfallen rigs. If any rig in this game were asking for a dead elf theme, its that one.

If Blizzard is smart they can add a scrolling bar to the character creation screen race list so they don’t bother about having limited slots, or they can just make the portraits smaller to fit more.

Seriously guys, think just a little bit. They aren’t going to stop making Allied Races because they don’t have space in the character creation screen.

Night elf worgen and holy undead would be a waste.

Night elf worgen are just worgen that turn into night elves. That’s it, that’s the difference.

Holy Undead are just a disgusting mistake.

I would grind all the reps.

Let’s be honest here. What the majority of Alliance really wants is high elf, and Horde wants ogres.
Not saying im for or against, I just think blizz can release night elf worgen shaman, holy undead paladin and no one will really cares if blizz brings he/ogres playable.

Cause LF Draenei, HM Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Mechagnomes all aren’t wastes? I know you didn’t say they weren’t, but come on. So far half the Allied Races have been “wastes” that could have easily just been customization options for core races.

I think it’s safe to say the next Allied Races are going to generally be “waste” ones that could just be customization options because they aren’t meant to be super unique like a core race. That’s the vibe I get.

Alright I hear you but I disagree entirely, and frankly what I’m talking about isn’t a matter of popularity at all. We all know the reason why the blood elf race if popular is because people want to look cute/sexy or whatever and link that to the blood elves quite often. So again while I understand where you’re coming from here it’s not the same thing that I’m talking about.

Worgen’s are really the only non human race the alliance gets since the majority of their races are variants on humans for the most part. While looking at the horde it’s not quite the same, Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, etc. are all fairly unique and are their own thing and really diversify the horde with a lot of interesting races.

I’m not trying to come across as rude so I’m sorry if that’s the case, I just feel rather passionate about this and I’m welcome to talk about it. But I don’t think anyone will be able to convince me that at this point in time that the alliance has a wide variety of races in comparison to the horde.
