Largest Wrath PServer removed LFD from their Hardcore Server. Here is what followed:

Yeah but you guys could do other things together. You choose to play WoW because it’s not as bad as you say it is.

Your actions betray your words.

Prolly cuz no one likes me, i cant blame them tbh

Uh… we do?

It’s almost like it’s the game we met on and all of us wanted to play. We’ve already lost a number of people.

No? You snipped the part where I said Wrath Classic isn’t set in stone yet.

So you continue to play a game you claim is ran by out-of-touch devs simply because it’s the one you met on? To each their own, but I don’t know that I would personally put myself through that, especially if you guys connect in ways outside of WoW. My time is way too valuable to spend it on games I don’t like.

Correct, instead its spent on forums pretending to be a therapist

Wrath Classic hasn’t impacted TBCC. As I said, it’s not set in stone yet.

If you actually read my posts instead of being condescending you’d realize that.

Yeah but you claim that Blizzard has been bad for years now and TBCC also doesn’t have LFD. Your own personal circumstances aren’t really that relevant to the broader discussion here but the impression I get is that very few people are willing to die on this hill and unsubscribe over it.

Blizzard confirmed they are not implementing LFD in wotlk classic. This is not a hunch or an assumption.

I dont claim to know which way its going to go. I dont work for Blizzard’s financial department. But clearly they have decided it would make them the most money, because it is the choice they’ve ultimately made. Take it up with them.

He is a troll. Don’t even engage with him. “Classic” community only exists in RMT/GDKP closed discords, and guilds. There is no more social community. Why? Because it’s no longer 2004.

I bet $100 they cash out on RMT. I swear to god they are endorsing RMTs & boosting.

Leveling today is the LEAST social experience one can have.

The most social thing that happens on the server I started over on (Since fairbanks is dead) is people tend to be very liberal with their buffs on strangers, that’s about it.

Nobody helps with quests, they only demand a party when you clear an area and are about to complete your objective they did none of the work for. It’s ALL paid carries and spam for GDKP all day long.

Playing on Atiesh for what it’s worth.

oh you get buffs? Not on Pagle-A. My druid goes left and right throw out WIld/Thorns. I didn’t get a single one in return. Saved a few people from death as well by healing them. Not a single thank you. I even said later “you’re welcome” and even then not a single emote or a word.

Joined a strat boost earlier as well to knock out a few annoying levels to skip a zone or 2, even there I tried to strike a convo and was straight up ignored.

#cOmMuNitY lmao…

Aye, if not for being a hunter I’d get no dungeon gear at all, it’s faster to try running it solo or with my wife’s mage than to sit around spamming for a group cause nobody is running old content.

I imagine that’ll get worse in actual TBC content, as was already the case when TBCC launched and fairbanks was “Full” at the time since nobody wanted to tank for randoms unless they were being paid to do it, before GDKP.

Funny how this community thing never really existed in the first place on classic yet people swear it’s RDF that will kill it.

do not have to experience the consequences of poor behavior esp if xrealm

If your A dps or non meta spec then its a pig with lipstick… lol oh you will see… sign up to group wait 5 min only to be denied bc either a.) Higher ilvl signed up or a meta spec signed up… cant wait for the forum posts then

You honestly expect people to hold a conversation when they are getting a boost? That is the most obvious time to alt tab and afk out of the game.

That is spectacularly incorrect. Based on the conversations had on these forums it is essentially impossible to determine any characteristics of either side of the debate.

Even the people who say all anti-RDF are clearly selling mage boosts otherwise hate keeping don’t really have anything other some really flimsy logic to support that claim.

That’s why you take individuals out of the equation and simply apply logic.

Whom does removing dungeon finder benefit? Well, what does dungeon finder provide? A way for players to do dungeons without having to buy their way into a dungeon group. It provides a choice. It provides freedom. Players aren’t inspected and scrutinized by elitist gatekeepers.

These are not opinions; these are facts.

So, it hurts boosters who rely on people buying their dungeon services. It hurts bots because anything that cuts back on RMTs (which dungeon finder would) isn’t good for their business.

The person you quoted is literally 100% wrong. The people who benefit from dungeon finder’s removal are bots, gold sellers, and boosters.

They cant explain that part.

It’s been explained quite a few times. It promotes people buying a second account for the boost and then it also promotes RMT, which blizzard profits from due to gold sellers also buying a bunch of accounts, no matter what it boils down to blizzard loses potential short term income from dungeon finder being in the game in an indirect way. Plus not having it also leaves room for a potential boost being added to their in game services shop in the near future, which some say won’t happen, but it’s pretty likely I believe, and even a WoW token would sell like hot cakes because people would skip the RMT outside of WoW and buy gold from blizzaerd directly to purchase boosts.

I’m very confused. Is there a “don’t” missing somewhere in the paragraph above?
