Largest Wrath PServer removed LFD from their Hardcore Server. Here is what followed:

What is your opinion on Birmingham stating “we are closer to not never” after he stated “more than enough are celebrating this”

Also youre pretty hypocritical to state that opinion on the timeline of things considering your fallback position is a quote from birmingham hours after an announcement

And considering the polls are data as compared to no data being provided of those celebrating it, id say pro lfd is more verified than anti lfd is

“Self Identified”

“We are closer to not never” isn’t really quantifiable. I’ve always maintained that I’m neutral on LFD as a whole. I think releasing it for the final patch is mostly fine.

Not sure what you’re trying to communicate here.

Anti-LFD representation is verified by Blizzard themselves – who could offer the most unbiased perspective on this. If you want to take X streamer community’s opinion as gospel, that is your prerogative, but that doesn’t mean the entire game will be designed around X streamer community.

Likely only intermittently, since I’ve already leveled 5 alts through to 70 and don’t want to do that again for any more, so I’ll raid till I get an end boss down, then unsub till the next phase. The point of RDF is to give people easy access to “something else to do”.

That’s great, enjoy Wrath!

Its heresay, not verified. There was nothing anywhere to suggest that this was going to be a popular decision. It isnt even popular amongst the devs. It was nothing more than a statement made to make them feel like they made the right call. They didnt

It comes from the lead developer of the game… you understand the concept of credibility, correct?

This simple statement proves any opinion you have about what Blizzard “should do” is largely irrelevant, because if I only sub 2 months out of three, Blizzard revenue drops by a third from me. While you might think that’s fine, they won’t when everyone does it.

So yeah, go back to being a player, not a financial consultant.

I understand the need for PR to save face. You see this from politicians all the time when a controversial decision has been made.

There was no survey regarding rdf
There was no CM in the forums asking for opinions on the subject

There is 0 possibility for them to conduct in game data considering retail is more populated than classic and rdf would have more instances ran than classic.

Youre reaching here.

Except what you say you’re going to do and what you actually end up doing are two completely different things. Both Blizzard and I know this.

I’m not interested in conspiring, if that’s all you have, I will have to stop replying. All you’ve presented so far is speculation and conspiracies that you have about Blizzard.

why haven’t you answer on that?

what prevent you from socializing? if you can still open your friend list to invite your friends for dungeons or type in guild chat to get a group from guild members to run your dungeons, LFD existence won’t prevent you from doing that, and if you claim that you want to socialize with total random people? you can still do that once you meet those total randoms through LFD, you can talk to those randoms inside the dungeon and even invite them to your real id and be friends! isn’t that amazing?

so if you want to socialize with your current friends/guilds, LFD will not prevent you & if you want to socialize with total random people? the RDF will allow you to interact with more amount of players!

Nope, generally I do what I say. You might not, but some people actually do follow through with their statements.

He came out and said the backlash is suprising and that even the devs are split on the decision. Anyone who had data regarding this would not be able to say things like that lol i mean cmon bro get real

Yeah, I’m sure. Anyway, like I said, see you in Wrath, which you already confirmed you will play and stay subscribed to regardless if LFD is there or not.

Yeah, any rational thinking person would be surprised if their decision regarding a video game was meant with death threats and harassment.

And the lead developer at Blizzard has been out of touch with the community since Ghostcrawler left. I think only OW’s dev was actually somewhat in touch with the community.

If you truly think so, why do you continue to play and pay for Blizzard products?

I highly doubt people are giving death threats over it

You keep going back to this, and I keep repeating the same answer.

I pay to play Classic and to play with my friends and guild. Blizzard’s continued sabotage of the game is pushing me and many other players away, however. Wrath Classic isn’t out yet and so we still don’t have the final word on LFD yet.

Must not be as bad as you claim it is then.

If my friends and guild weren’t here then I wouldn’t be either. The game itself has problems, and if the solution to the problem is deliberately kept from the game, I would question if I want to continue playing.

Part of that socializing that anti-LFD players go on about is a sense of responsibility to a guild raid.
