Lag spikes on Illidan during keys

having random lag spikes in key for some reason in and out. i ran a ping test it’s not my internet and my pc is updated with juicy hardware. call of duty runs just fine 300fps

Ok, I tried WinMTR tests. The ping times were always pretty low. Every now and then there would be a lost packet (like 1 in over a thousand packets). I don’t think that minimal amount of loss would cause what I’m seeing. Also, the packet loss didn’t coincide with the occurrences of the freezes. I logged a customer support ticket 2 weeks ago. I am getting random lag spikes and have ran tests on my end to see if it was a me issue, after researching i found these 2 threads that explain exactly what’s happening to me. It seems like it only happens to me on my Horde characters on Illidan. I have a friend who has ally characters on Illidan who doesn’t have the same issue (makes no sense). Checked for packet loss, checked my connection to blizzard servers with live monitoring but nothing. I am making this post to hopefully have blizzard acknowledge the issue and fix it.

ONE HOUR LATER UPDATE: Just had it happen in a +12 AGAIN, also had a party member dc at the same time and said he experienced the same issue at the same time. He was Alliance on Kel’thuzad

I also lagged out twice today doing +12 on Kel’thuzad Alliance. It also happened last night in raid with some members of our guild.

frequently on Illidan and Stormrage. In arenas. Its the servers then? Because my internet is fine

Lagging a bit on Turalyon currently. Internet speed test shows no problems and I’m not experiencing this lag in other games.

Same thing happening for my characters on Sisters of Elune/Cenarion Circle/Blackwater Raiders/Shadow Council server group and Moon Guard (doesn’t matter which faction I choose).

Our internet is testing fine but I’m getting upwards of 1500-2600+ ms randomly while doing Follower or Regular Dungeons in WoW.

I also get lag spikes frequently during keys or completely disconnect despite my internet working perfectly.

This issue never happens on any program other than WoW.

Happens to me on multiple characters, whether in mythic plus or the open world doing world quests. Has also happened a couple times in horrific visions.
