Happened to me too, both in War Mode and out of it. Tried it with no addons, deleting cache and still the same thing kept happening. It’s not precisely game-breaking, but it does worry me how it makes my HDD “work” through it. D:

I concur with Lysithea. I tried both synced and unsynced and I STILL got the jittery lag.

I have been having the problem just walking around let alone trying to quest or do a dungeon. I deleted everything and even reformatted my pc thinking it was on my end.

I am also getting this issue, every time i open a chest, kill a rare, complete a world quest, and sometimes when summoning a mount. Didnt have this issue before 8.2.5. Tried all suggested fixes above, nothing worked. It’s on Blizzard’s side. Please fix this. I have a raid quest and cannot do it until this is resolved.

I would love to be able to do the timewalking on my toons but cant since it will massively lock up its beyond frustrating
Any update, blue? Still happening. And for clarity, it’s not just during turn-ins etc. It happens even flying around, during dungeons etc.
Zero variance in it since the 8.25 drop.

According to twitter no updates meaning they have no idea what is going on and we just have to suck it up till they figure it out.

Worse sept 26 then sept 25.
leveling in starter zones - all quests, achieves and some loots = stutter.
Did not happen pre-8.2.5

Same here! I am also having this problem on Saurfang. Thought it was something to do with my pc but there are so many players with this issue. Not game breaking but extremely annoying! Always getting this 1-3 second lag/stutter when handing in quests, doing world quests, killing bosses and rares. Normal mob kills are ok. Hope there will be a fix soon!

Lag when turning in quest in every place. BFA quest turn ins or completing a wq. Lower level toons are also happening. I leveled in Ashenvale recently and I got the same lag when turn in a quest. I play in Ravencrest. Hope this info helps.

So something interesting. I was having this issue, and I moved wow over to a SSD, and now I am no longer having the issue. I wonder if the patch changed how WoW is paging data from HDD’s and thats where the lag and stutter is coming from.
Anyone with WoW running from a SSD having the issue? Or are you all running from HDDs?
Also having this issues for the past few days. Please fix blizzard.

It isn’t just you everyone is having this issue. Everyone in Boralus framerate is down to 50 or less. Not good.
