happened in bfa as well as goldshire and stormwind for me. on different level toons with and without addons.

hope this gets fixed, it makes my hard drive scream when it stutters.

Still not fixed. I had this issue yesterday after the patch and it’s still here this morning. I am disappointed. ALSO… just to note… I do not have this issue in Classic.

This seems to be a big issue, and even killing a rare in Naz causes a slight freeze.

Its indeed an annoying bug…

I disabled all addons, tried turning quests in on Horde side in Silverpine Forest and Hellfire Peninsula on different characters. One character had war mode on and the other off. Both experiencing the 1-3 second freeze/lag.
Thank you for looking into the issue!

Wanted to emphasize this happens beyond just quest turn-ins. Also with, eg, chest openings, rare kills, etc. Happens with max and lower level alts, in war mode and out, in mechagon, stormsong, tiragarde, drust, Both before and after the recent huge windows 10 update. Whole screen freezes for a bit, not just the active toon.

Except, though it happened with every treasure chest I tried in mechagon and kul tiras, I did not notice it when I opened a weekly war chest in boralus.

Same issue here. Happens with any activity that involves items. General combat/movement etc is fine.

So I did a quest on a lowbie rogue with engineering. It was to get gnomish engineering. Turned it in and there was no freezing. The quest involved no exp though… I feel like the freezing has something to do with gaining exp.

With tons of reports, and no issues prior to 8.2.5, it’s 100% on your end, please fix this

Same here, glad its not just me.

my game was fine up until the point where I entered the building where the warchief was at to begin the quest for the “Veteran of the Fourth War” achievement. The very moment I rounded the first bend in the circular entrance, the game jumped/paused then smoothed out. But now each quest turn in, no matter where in game, it seems to pause.

To add, every quest turn in am seeing a massive spike in hard disk activity (non SSD) using Task Monitor. If you keep task monitor running on the hard disk performance monitor chart and play and game watch the spike on every quest turn in.

It’s happening to me too.

Same issue. Ever quest or WQ I turn in, I get a 1-2 second lag spike

Same issue.

I have warmode on;
Playing on a Priest, Horde, in BfA’s content (Zandalar, Mechagon, Nazjatar);
Happens when I get a chest, when I complete a quest, sometimes when I kill a monster, and it even happened when I recruited my Nazjatar daily follower.

Edit: I think it’s something that happens when a new item / currence gets added to our character. Right now I saw a brief, empty loot window when I received some manapearls from a daily quest - the type of thing that usually happens when I’m lagging and trying to loot a chest.

Can confirm what Weisz is saying. Massive disk usage spikes on every quest turn-in. Very strange

Same is happening to me as well, I’m at 100 fps and latency shown is in the 30-50 range. I’ve set all settings to recommended and that doesn’t seem to have changed anything. I’ve also been getting disconnected frequently /shrugs. No problems like this until yesterday.

This has occurred in all Boralus zones, Darkshore, and Nazjatar.

Since 8.2.5 went live whenever i turn in a quest the game lags out for a second. I also have been experience instances of sporadic lag in dungeons; the lag can last from 2-3 seconds and really sucks when it happens. I have tried not loading any addons and resetting my router yet the problem persists.
