Lack of Zin'athid

So there’s tens of thousands of zin’athid on the auction house but for absolutely insane prices. Not a problem I will just go farm it. But when I get out into Nazjatar I can’t find any nodes up at all. I do see large groups of druids and tauren death knights on wind riders flying around in a set pattern though.

Is there anyway you can fix it so we can actually farm some herbs for ourselves?

If you have a suggestion to make, you’ll want to use the in-game suggestion feature or post in the Professions forum.

If you feel that there are people breaking the rules, as in botting to gather herbs, you’ll want to right-click and report them for cheating.

Otherwise, herbs are multi-tap now and even if others are tapping them, you should still be able to collect them before they despawn.

I have no suggestion to make. Quite the opposite. Since there’s so many multiboxers and bots strip mining the zone of herbs I can’t even find a node to tap.

Perhaps they can make a suggestion to the players on how they will address and fix this issue.

It’s important not to confuse multiboxing with bots. They’re very different things. Multiboxing has a player behind the keyboard controlling their actions and is very much allowed (not against the rules).

Botting is when there’s nobody at the keyboard and a character is moving around accomplishing something (like gathering materials).

To fix the issue, you right-click and report bots. That’s it really.

I am well aware of the difference between multiboxers and bots. Both are in Nazjatar. At no point did I say they were the same thing.

Blizzard rarely does anything about bots so the issue is there are not enough nodes spawning and it should be addressed.

No, but you implied they both needed a solution. Only one does as only one is against the rules.

Really? We see the opposite here in the CS forums. We often (multiple times a year) see ban waves go out where people start posting here about how they’re “innocent” and never ever would use botting software. Maybe it was their brother/uncle/a witch/etc., but it wasn’t them.

Reporting works. It’s not instant and it takes time for Blizz to study the bot and both break it and then ban those using it.

Have you tried joining a group to get to a different shard or CRZ or server? Have you tried War Mode?

What sort of suggestion are you looking for?

That would be feedback. You would need to post it in the Professions forum or using the in-game Feedback option on the Help Menu.

Nothing could be further from the truth. They just don’t work on your schedule or address it in the way you personally feel it should be addressed. Making this sort of comment just spreads apathy and discourages players from reporting because they believe nothing is done. It is a never-ending fight. Blizzard investigates breaks a bot and bans the users of it in a wave, the bot-makers upgrade their botting software and the cycle begins again.

That isn’t remotely true. We do, fairly often, but it isn’t a situation of once you get rid of them they simply go away. It is a big industry with a lot of incentive for those folks to continue their illicit behavior so it is a constant struggle where sometimes we make huge steps forward and other times they are difficult to detect, prevent or eliminate.

I’m not entirely certain what your solution is, as I don’t think additional nodes would solve the issue, more likely exacerbate it. Feel free to post any suggestion you may have in the appropriate place, the Professions forum.

Additionally, if you encounter someone you suspect of botting, please use the right click report option. The more folks who use the reporting option the better those reports can aid in those investigations.
