Lack of tanks

Anyone else having friends basically quit the game because they can’t do any instance content due to the tank drought?

No, can’t say that I have

Why don’t they roll their own tanks? My group of 3, we have two tank alts and two healer alts between us, ensuring that we have access to all dungeons when we want them. Seems like a better idea then quitting lol

Re-roll tank.

No, that’s weird. Just pay one if it’s off hours or you’re doing a dungeon no one wants to tank. It’s not that much for the time saved

Otherwise I just wait until I see LF1M DPS and it’s golden ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I know it’s unpopular, but you know what solves tank shortage, dual spec.

Seems like your friends need to roll a tank

Probably cause they just sunk dozens of hours into getting their current class to lvl 70 lol

No, because my friends are smart enough to join guilds.

Disagree, but not looking to argue with the master troll Glinda

Hmm group of friends and none of them willing to tank? No, no sympathy for that group of friends.

I don’t troll.

You’re arguing with 15 years of WoW history, not me.

It does take time, yes

I have never not immediately had a tank while playing this feral druid. It’s great.

Its really not that unpopular.

Just really loud minority that hates fun

You don’t think dual spec helps at all? What about satchels in retail.

I think both have a pretty large impact on getting more people to tank

As a bear tank main, Its pretty clear that the average casual could not handle playing a tank in TBC hence the tank shortage.

That wasn’t the what I responded to.

This was:

Everyone has three available specs in retail now.

There’s still a tank shortage.

You’re kidding yourself if you think dual spec, or anything else, has a “large impact”.
