Lack of loot = unsubs

In Legion and BFA i had a reason to log on and grind every day. Mythic + gave good loot at high keys, or there was a small chance for a titan forge.

Now…I feel unmotivated to log on, because the rewards have been nerfed. Do my lockouts, and see ya in 5 days.

I have a strong feeling their plan to retain subs by lowering the drop chances, will have the opposite effect.

I also feel items should be able to titan forge up to the heroic level, not higher. Gives you some hope to log on and grind.

You’re ilvl 205 not even a month into raid/m+/PvP release. You’re doing just fine bud, chill.

Agreed, It’s a true blast to do full clears weekly and get nothing! I understand not handing out epic’s like candy but the current system is atrocious and truly un-motivating to even log on

tbh I felt less motivated to play the game in Legion and BFA when there was a disgusting amount of loot thrown at me.

comments like these ‘’ its fine cus its not an issue for low level content’’ are another good reason to just give up on the game

You sound like a fool when you say things like this. He probably worked much harder than he should have in order to get to 205.

but then the gear stopped, and the tears started flowing. the great crisis of 2020.

Yup this is me as well. Was a time I use to play 8-10-14 hours a day, while working on my 15 alts. Not this xpac, maybe 4-7 hours a day on 3 max lvl toons.

Nah bro, the people complaining about loot sound entitled. Loot is better this way, gear actually means something. The second there’s a modicum of effort required in this game people come to the forums to complain. I didn’t get my first piece of gear from M+ till my 6th one, you know what I didn’t do? Go complain about it.

Yea I call BS on that, I can could think of other reason I hated an xpac, too much loot, which means more gold, isn’t one of them.

I downloaded and tried out Diablo III and still very active in Ark: Survival.

I am so bummed about the time gaming and endless grinds. Not the wow I love anymore. Perfect time to check out more Nintendo switch games and games on Steam. SL is exhausting and so time consuming.

I feel the opposite. Scarcity of loot makes me want to play more. An upgrade feels great because you know you’ll have it for a long time. It gives your efforts value.

Bfa loot fiesta felt unrewarding knowing that every item you get could be replaced at any moment. It was awful.

quick look at your profile you dont even play the game so ofcourse it doesnt affect you lol

sounds more like wanting a handicap to keep up while you put half the work

After you do your raid lockouts, whether you get loot or not, you have no reason to log on until next week.

That’s the problem.

Bloated loot tables meant you more often than not got gear that made you worse, that’s not fun. Grinding the same content and only receiving loot that was a detriment to your performance was not fun. I’d rather wait a little longer, than sift through that garbage again.

Just because it’s purple and a high ilvl, doesn’t mean it was good.

That’s true, I will give you that, however when you’re a heavy mount collector, which needs LOTS of gold, I didn’t mind.

Yeah I see what you mean there. There was definitely some positives to it, disenchanting and gold being two of them.

Nice ad hominem dude.

Do people really want half the playerbase to be ilvl 210 already. Does OP expect to be 220 this soon after content release? I don’t understand how anyone could think that’s reasonable, it completely nullifies actually working for gear.
