Kyrians as an Allied Race?

There have been a lot of rumors about allied races in Shadowlands, with most people coming to the consensus that they will only appear further into the expansion itself. So far, people think that they’ll be Venthyr, Night Fae and the Kyrians. I’m actually really interested in the idea of having a Kyrian as a race in WoW.

I’d love to see them use their wings, and have wings. We’re already ignoring armor with Mechagnomes, so I don’t see it as an issue for the Kyrians. Having an ability to fly with the wings, akin to the worgen’s Running Wild ability, would be awesome too. Maybe the ability can be unlocked at max level, as the lore behind the wings goes something along the lines of; “A Kyrian must prove themselves before they earn their wings.” I’d race change my paladin in a heartbeat.

What does everyone else think? Do you like Allied Races? What would you like to see!

If we could not just get another variation of humans that would be great.

Ah yes because this game needs an 8th variation of human.

There won’t allied races in Shadowlands.

The Kyrians used to be mortals from either the horde or alliance turned into blue humans.
The Night fae are gods.
The Venthyr hate the sunlight.

I don’t see any allied race from this.

Let’s be honest here, no horde would ever deserve to go Kyrian.

I hope none of the covenants become allied races because it makes no sense.

I don’t know if it’s confirmed if they hate sunlight, or if they’re allergic to the HOLY light.

There’s currently only 2 1/2 playable versions of humans in the game.

False,

Gnomes, Dwarves, Worgen, Kul Tirans, Mechagnomes, Dark Iron Dwarves, Humans.

Humans and all of the variations, adding Kyrian would make the 8th.

Are you trolling? Gnomes and Dwarves are not humans. Worgen I gave half a point even though they’re in wolf form most of the time.

That’s 1.5 too many.

Said the elf. :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s too many elves too, but that wasn’t the topic.

It’s clear that you don’t know what the word variation means.
There are… okay and I will give you this because worgen;

6.5 variations of human in world of warcraft.

So adding Kyrian would make 7.5 different types of human.

Again, Gnomes and Dwarves are not Humans. They have zero racial connection to them. That’s like saying Goblins are Orcs.

So far it does seem as though Tyrande and Shandris are the only mortals (that I known of) that are involved in a covenant which could make sense discovering an allied race from the Night fae.

I hope not, we’re all going to be pretty sick of Blue Man Group when this is all over, I’d guess.

Google, please define variation:

  1. a change or difference in condition, amount, or level, typically with certain limits.
  2. a different or distinct form or version of something.

So yes, I’d call them a variation, since they fall under definition #2.

That would be incredibly stupid. Allied races are what kept a lot of people playing in BFA.
