Kul tiran customizations!

I don’t think they will add body sliders, but like at least being able to pick between the two bodytypes for humans would be a big improvement. And later they can add the skinny ones.

Well, I wouldn’t mind more types of beard.

That would be pretty cool option. Definitely would look good on a Kul Tiran or dwarf. For sure a goblin. We have the candy cane, so it seems feasible.

It’s a troll… go figure.

The stretchy belly is kinda weird. I think Pandas can pull it off well but the general figure/models of Kul Tirans is just weird.

I would have been a more happy men if we had got Broken draeneis over Lighforged :c

Ah Kul’tirans. They had so much potential, so much ruined for the sake of “body diversity” that made fat people a different race from humans lol.

Pandas for me are worst than Kul’tirans. That’s why I don’t have a male panda yet, I cant see them on anything looking good.

I don’t guess I ever realized that was visible on your character when you ate it. lol

I think that’s an oversimplification. I have a natural build similar to them (though maybe not quite as exaggerated) and thought it was cool to be able to create a character that was at least closer to myself than the standard “bro do you even crossfit?” humans.

Strongman > natty bodybuilder for my personal preference.

I really doubt they make skinny Kul’tirans now. They should just reduce the gigantism they apparently suffer. They are taller and more bulky than Draenei and night elves… it’s so weird for just “human”

Dude that looks wow!

To make it fair for Horde, they now get a toggle for fat vulpera. Enjoy!

That is fair, Males particularly do have a strongmen build I agree. Females do look more just fat though.

That being said, the main point is, they ended up being super underwhelming because their only concept as a playable race is “body diversity” which feels shallow.

You’re already playing a thin human.
Next question.

The “body fat” is a slider/number they can easily change for the model. It’s a 5 minute job. Some months ago a person released a short demonstration how easily these figure models can be changed. If you ever wanted to have bulky Forest Trolls, then it wouldn’t be this hard to do.

Well, it’s not a design philosophy exclusive to them though.

The Zandalari are a different flavor of Troll.
The Nightborne are a different flavor of Night Elf.
The Mechagnomes are a different flavor of Gnome.
And I guess technically… the Vulpera are a different flavor of Goblin? lol (Maybe a stretch.)

But the rest are basically recolors with different customization options.

I think having a redesign for the Kul Tiran is cool. Even if not everyone is in love with the models. I actually wish they did more unique stuff like that for Allied Races instead of just the recolored version. The Allied Races that feel the coolest to me are the ones that are more unique. They feel like actual NEW races instead of just different customizations of existing ones.

But, they’re still cool all the same.

I think it’s different though, because all of those races are different lorewise for many reasons.

While Kul’tirans can look like normal humans but that’s just locked up, and normal humans presumably would be able to look like kul’tirans.

Instead they could’ve gone with various cultural differences, like different jewelry, tattoos, maybe hair colours and eye colours and some new facial structures.

That being said , I’m not against body diversity. I am all for the current kul’tiran model existing, as well as the skinny ones, and even more. (We definitely need something between the normal male and the skinny one for example).

I’m just against the way it was implemented and the way the race ended up.

I used to play an old argentinian MMO from around wow’s time, that survived on donations of the players. It still had body sliders…

The more the merrier! At this point, I kind of wish they would go all in and just add like 30 variants or allied races, entirely new races, etc., as well as body sliders.

Thing is, the sliders don’t need to be extreme. Just enough to make your toon feel more unique. With enough options, nobody will have the exact same toons. Or few will. People like to feel unique when making a character for any game.

Maybe we’ll get the skinny option eventually. I hope they just open the flood gates and throw tons of options at us.
