Thinking of skipping this grind…

So you’re not actually ‘doing this grind’ if you’re skipping dailies, treasures, and rares. You’re embarrassing yourself with this post and you don’t even know it.

I started 12 days late and I’m halfway through Tier 5.
It is a boring grind for sure, but what kills it for me is the renown gate for the gear upgrades.

Death’s Advance is long, but doable. It takes about 6 weeks to hit exalted just doing the daily quests. And you can finish those in 10-15 minutes.
Archivist’s Codex is way too slow in my opinion though and should be buffed.

i will be finishing my Death’s Advance in the next few days (exalted) and will not continue with the Archivist Research once that happens.

Well it shouldn’t exist to begin with so don’t blame you.
Daily quest in that zone are mind numbing. Korthia might be the worst zone they ever made. It is void of content. It’s like the Devs didn’t even try.
Doing daily’s over and over isn’t content.

lol how? its imposible, im get revered yesterday with death advance, i did all daily everyday. Archvist reach Rank 5 today. I try get the rares when i questing.

Most people don’t want to log in and do Daily’s. They want to play the game instead. Likely why 9.1 flopped and didn’t bring many players back. They saw the new zone which doesn’t have any real content in it and more rep grinds and said nope.
Then there is the domination socket system where the Devs lied to the players and said there would be no more systems. Then the very first patch made a new bad awful system 
Also we didn’t need any new resources in 9.1 adding them just made what was already bad worse.

in 9.0 people were whining they want 9.1. at least those posts stopped.
Well those post stopped because those players aren’t playing this game anymore 
WoW will likely be under 1 mil subs soon. Probably this year. SL the biggest loss of players in history and it’s not even at the halfway mark. That’s impressive. I got my popcorn.
I am rooting for Blizz thought to fix the game some day.

That’s baseline ? Sorry if that’s baseline then this is one of the worst designed game system ever. It’s incredibly boring and tedious , especially with the lag.

I did. There was absolutely no way to do it in my 2 hour window. I used to be able to pump out almost everything in BFA, not so on this ridiculous amount of requirements. And they’re not even that nor a reason to do them really.
Skip and do something else or spend 4 hours of your day at it. Let alone the “other” non-requirements that actually are if you want what you need to finish this expac. Good luck

The timeless isle grind was bad. The Korthia grind is just as bad. That is the real truth.
Running around a zone killing rares on a schedule and collecting eggs out of tree for some unknown reason is not a good grind.
The dailies are tolerable and the saving grace of Korthia is that you can get a conduit upgrade from Torghast and Sockets from Deaths Advance.
The entire Archivist reputation should never have been tied to progression.

WoW only has about 1.3 to 1.6 MAUs right now. With 9.1 being a massive flop and New World coming out in Sept and FF new expansion in Nov. You can just tag and bag SL and watch it sink at this point.
People are way over WoW now and I doubt Blizz will apologize to win back the community.
