They won’t let us fly in Korthia even after unlocking it…
Yes! Thank you for saying it better than I did. People who love to socialize and have the schedules to do so are the only ones allowed to excel in this game now.
What defines a casual player anyways? I don’t really differentiate between casual and non casual stuff. I just play the game…
Also are you just planning on playing one month? You will be able to get there eventually if you want to. It will just take a while… There is a monthly fee. Hence you aren’t going to be able to do everything in a single week…
You just defined the casual players objectives
I mean other than returning for a month each patch for catch up mechanics, it doesnt appear much of the game is really designed for the casual gamer in mind…maybe they think the time gating and metering is for them but its not…
I’m casual and already tier 3 in just 1 day…
I want the golden charger and they allow us to kill it AS MANY TIMES a DAY for a chance at it (respawn timer sucks but hey, that’s good ol Blizz for ya - almost like they took a step BACKWARDS from 9.0.5 and gave us super-long respawn times back; hope the drop rate increased to compensate, Blizzard!!).
Overall I don’t think it’s TERRIBLE, bit my fiance and the boys are gone for the weekend so it’s just me, the dog and the cat and Azeroth for me, so maybe I’m looking at this with rose-colored glasses…
I’m not casual enough for the casuals and not pog enough for the CE crowd. Guess I’m just an average player (and even got AOTC just being average).
Because they are happy with it and therefore not on the forums.
Now a different group of people are here complaining.
This is how every change goes, and can give the impression every change is bad because people happy with it tend to not come on and post about it.
That is hardly an issue. The bigger issue is random bg. It should be the number one problem on their list.
i not gonna say on u wat to do , if u wanna have a stonk thats ur bisnis
WTF , do you want it all maxed out the first week ?
yes, as a casual player i HAVE TO grind 18 hours a day to have a full 233 set before the raid (that i won’t set foot in for another 8 months) opens
I’m a casual and even i don’t grind that many hours and I will be in the raid way before 8 months .
sorry, if you go in a non-LFR raid you’re a hardcore sweaty mythic elitist tryhard gogogo esports person. i don’t make the rules around here
Are you kidding I’m an LFR hero.
Are you saying that you are a sweaty gogogo esports person and tha tis why it will take you 8 months to get into the raid ?
If so that’s not a casual problem that’s a you problem.
I mean, or you could just jump in a raid or some M+ every now and then?
World quest heroes are never satisfied.
Play the game, get the rewards. It’s fairly simple.
LOL, your name is awesome! and fits prefect into this thread!
Are you kidding I’m an LFR hero
That’s right! we don’t mess around with that kids stuff, wiping for hours on end and getting nothing at the end …
LFR hero’s UNITE!!!
While the grind to 233 doesn’t seem too far out of line to me. Looks like it will take a couple of months of farming research. The problem lies in the games movement towards everyone having 10 alts and the grind not being faster for those alts. Maybe they could do something like tracking the highest total research obtained by a single character on your account and then give 5x research gains for all other characters until reaching that max.
You get what you put into it in return. I’m casual, I log onto it, do the three WQs, loot any treasures along the way, kill rares as they pop up and log off.
I did mange to find the unicorn twice, so I’m slowly working on that but I haven’t actively looked for it.
What do you lose out on if you can’t complete every single thing in a week? What is being hindered by taking a little longer to finish something that others might be able to do if they put more time into it?
If you’re just playing casually, you have this content for nearly half a year. You’ll get through it. You’ll accomplish everything you want to do.
I don’t understand this mindset that you need to get it over and done with ASAP. That sounds like you’re not really enjoying it, you’re just getting it over with. Any time the devs design content around people who want to get it over with as soon as possible, with little effort, the game suffers for it.
I mean, look at what they did to professions. Look at what 9.0 felt like because they tried to design it in a way that people didn’t have to put much effort into it.
If you don’t want to play the game, don’t play the game. I hope they stop trying to design the game for people who don’t actually want to play it.
It’s not for ANY players.
You think mythic raiders want to trudge through this gated dumpster fire of a zone? Because we don’t. It’s a poorly designed grind that isn’t fun.
