People have had 3 years now to get the Korrak’s Revenge rewards. It’s prepatch. Bugs are to be expected. We should calm down a bit and let the bugs get worked out, yet also remember there were 3 other times the mount could’ve been earned. The chances were there before, so let’s relax and let the devs fix the bugs and you’ll have another chance. Patience.
I got mine 3 years ago, but some people might be coming back for the pre patch who dont have the mount yet

Idk. I have a bonus objectives thing for Korrak’s on my screen and it’s progressing.

I already farmed out 220 timewarped badges on this character, I really don’t want to do it again.

Guys it’s totally fine for things you’re spending 15/month on to be broken because at some point in the past they weren’t broken.
Oh, did you farm 200 badges on a grind that takes hours to do? Who cares, it was working fine in 2020.

Would be nice to get a Blue post on this. I get it’s prepatch but it’s not fun to waste time doing something on the assumption you will get a reward.

We didn’t get a blue post, per se…but blizzard did update their Customer Service Page regarding Classic AV and the mounts: You now get a bonus objective quest when you first enter the Classic AV match…
You have get 200 timewarped badges to complete it and any badges earned prior to this hotfix tonight will not be counted…
so basically if i want the mount, i have to re-farm all 200 badges…

Blizzard could of easily pushed the prepatch/launch back for more time to fix said bugs so no

here’s another tip… make sure to get mass entangle… when u get to a graveyard, go bear form and bring the mobs away from the flag…mass entangle them and cap it…easy ten badges every day
gonna do the second set of 200 badges on the druid because its so much easier to do all the dailies stealthed.

Yep… the last AV I was in was a complete clown fiesta, lol. Everyone arguing in chat. At least if you get lucky, you can get 30-50 badges a run.
as someone who has the mount, but loves korrak’s revenge, i’m sad it’s bugged…
i like the madness and that drop-off point where you enter the match as alliance, and you either are early enough to be a part of the group pushing to get to drekthar, or are too late and are part of the group being camped outside the base (but are still giving the horde a miserable time by hitting them with cc’s).
that being said, i slightly agree with the OP, but i also feel it’s not right to cast-blame on the folks who don’t have the mounts already.
don’t blame the victims OP, they’re just pvp-averse, and there’s no shame in that, since most pvp is a living nightmare of folks on your side yelling at your team, and fighting the other team.
…but yeah, overall, disappointed we can’t korrak’s-revenge right now… i want my shot at those extra marks of honor dangit!
I wish it were not account bound for the rewards. I like grinding stuff out on alts. Like how all my PvP mounts are now account bound. I do not like.
My first time playing Korrak’s and it has been a blast.
Time in queue + the game itself feels like 45 minutes to an hour each time(I haven’t actually timed it, just a guess). That’s not a minor time investment. It stinks for the players who are not having fun and received no progress towards the mount reward prior to today.

Grinded 200+ badges, and now grinding 200 more. Can’t even play AV correctly since farming badges isn’t always aligned with a winning strategy.
Great hot fix, exactly the optimal solution…

2019 version was the best. Now there is no real point to it. Scaling is so bad its just not fun for leveling characters.
