I’m trying to use the knowledge points from the knowledge item , +1 to +4, and not getting the credit. I turned all of my add ons off. Turned the program off, and my computer, so I’m at a loss. I do get the points when crafting items. I just deleted my WOW from computer and reinstalled and still won’t give me the credit. 36/100 Enchanting and 22/100 Jewlelcrafting.
Not sure if you are aware but the knowledge points acrue in the professions specialisation tabs once you reach 25/100 skill.
You’ll need to chose a specialisation to start with for each profession and that will open up the specialisation tree which you then spend the knowledge points in.

Are you looking at your specialization, Virk, or your profession skill?

Items like the Grinded Earthen Gem raise give you points to spend in your specialization.

36/100 Enchanting and 22/100 Jewlelcrafting. So the 22/100 in Jewelcrafting, I wait till 25/100, but that leaves the 36/100 Enchanting not working. I’ll get my Enchanting higher than 22/100
What do you mean “not working”? These knowledge points are essentially currency to spend in the specializations, not skill points to fill the 100/100 bar.

You are still misunderstanding.
Those items don’t increase the profession skill.
They are acrrued for you to spend on the profession specialisation trees once they’re unlocked.

Think like your profession being the “base” skill.
And the “knowledge points” being the “extra skill”. They’re going to the✅extra skill and not your❌base skill.
